Hi my name is Caroline. I'm a lover of many things, including but not limited to (Breath) Precure, Symphogear, Kamen rider, Nanoha, Panty & Stocking, Bang Dream, Wordgirl, Steven universe, Disney, Simpsons, Masked singer, Five Nights at Freddy's (especially the fan music, god those guys are talented), Gorillaz, Electronic music (i.e. Boards of Canada, The Avalanches, Pendulum), and The Beatles etc. & things I have a small liking to like Doctor Who or Danganronpa. Now that's an eclectic f***ing list (Oh yeah, I also swear sometimes)
I'm also a big fan of YTPs and editing in general. I'm currently working on a YTP series and would like some help and tips, cause it's gonna be big.
I'm also an aspiring animator, though I haven't done much actual animations, I am pretty good at drawing tho.
I am also autistic, but I don't really see it as a problem. If anything it makes me the creative person I am today. And I'd like to show that having autism is okay, especially to others on the spectrum.

I had to swap everything over to my main computer 'cause I was going on vacation with my family. Plus, it took the WHOLE weekend before I finally got it, but it's back now.

Update on the Joker video. My attempts to revive the original upload failed. Turns out there's a maximum amount of blur segments you can use. Because I did it so gradually to see what the minimum accepted amount was, I reached the limit right as I was certain that I had got it. So now the OG video and all the comments are stuck in purgatory (Atleast I can still see them again, they were really cool). Now, my only option is what I probably should have done from the start. Going back into my own editor to fix it, then uploading the new version. It's a lot more flexible than YouTube's editor, and at least you can still see the episode through my blurs compared to YouTube's.
The only problem now is time. Every time I render the video, it takes 3 hours! So it's just a cycle of: Add some more blur to a scene, render for 3 hours, upload to YouTube to see if it takes it, and if not, repeat. That doesn't include the extra time from uploading an uncompressed version that's over a Gigabyte. (When I did this for the original, I compressed it before uploading every time, which added an extra hour. It makes more sense to save the compression for the upload that actually makes it)
ALSO technical difficulties from the old Alienware that I haven't used since I made the original video. I'm probably one of the only people that's patient enough to use a computer that needs to be constantly plugged in or else it will freeze, can't connect to the internet without a USB adapter, and has broken keys. (Thank god it has a touchscreen keyboard) Still better than the Toshiba I started the channel on, which is ATLEAST 14 years old now and moved at a snail's pace.

It's been several days, and I know y'all are wondering, "What happened to the 2004 Joker video?" It got blocked. It wasn't a strike, thankfully, but Content ID got stricter after it hit 100,000 views. It's also only a few episodes that are the problem: JTV, The Apprentice, & Two of a Kind. I'm now left with two options, go back into my editing software, increase the blur on the scenes I already blurred out, and reupload it. The problem is that all the comments and views will be reset to zero, and I loved that comments section. The other one is to use YouTube's editor on the original upload to increase the blur. The intensity of the blur is unadjustable, but the size of it is. So I've been using test upload after test upload to see the minimal size it allows. In fact, this post got delayed by two days because as I was originally writing this, I accidentally discovered that you can have multiple blur layers at once. Before, I put a big blur rectangle right in the middle, and as you can guess, it looked terrible. Now, I can construct a border to make things easier to see. Or atleast, that's what I hoped, but no matter what, I need to cover up a big area for it to get past content ID
So now I ask you guys. I've provided screenshots of my tests. Is it better to use the big YouTube blur if it's only for a few scenes? Don't forget, the unblurred version is still linked in the description. Or, will it completely ruin everything and I should just go for a new upload. I also have not touched the original upload, and for all I know, it could be even stricter and ask me to blur even more scenes.
