The stupas are planned to be constructed within 24 hours, as part of an effort associated with setting a Guinness World Records™ record. This makes it an extraordinary event to document and share with a global audience.

First photo: Chris and I having tea at our monastery canteen. Chris travelled all the way from the UK for the second time to Bhutan. This time, he even travelled to eastern Bhutan — a place that even a native Bhutanese like myself has never visited. He returned home a couple of months ago and is now preparing his next travelogue.

Second photo: I attended an empowerment and transmission at Dawathang in Gelephu. These are Vietnamese devotees with whom I spent time as their translator. The two wearing gho are Bhutanese politicians.

Third photo: After returning to my monastery from the Gelephu programme, I had quite a busy schedule, especially during the conferring of Khenpo and Lama titles to 25 and 6 monks respectively. This photo is of my teacher, who was also among the 25 newly conferred Khenpos at the age of 33 — the youngest of them all.

Just a small update from recent days.
