Hello. My name is Alex Ananian, born on January 15, 2000. I have been on YouTube doing piano videos (both piano cover videos and public piano videos) for a whole year now, having started on July 12, 2024. I have been playing piano since 2005, but my dream of playing on public pianos around the world was officially started last year, and I'll be doing more piano cover and public piano performance videos for years to come! Please don't forget to like and subscribe to my YouTube channel!

Thank you for reaching my YouTube channel to 75000 views! It took just under sixteen months to reach this point, and now I have 166 subscribers, meaning I gained 145 subscribers in 2025 alone! It's astonishing too because on January 1, 2025, I only had about 7900 views, which means I now have almost ten times the amount of views I started with this year! I am also now three-quarters of the way to 100,000 views! Please continue watching my channel, liking, and subscribing to my videos!

🎹 I’ve officially completed my 20th Anniversary Piano Playlist! 🎉

In celebration of my 20 years of playing the piano (2005–2025), I’ve spent this year performing 20 piano pieces spanning from the Baroque era (1600–1750) all the way to the 2020s decade — exploring how music, style, and emotion have evolved through time.

Each piece represents a chapter in music history and a step in my own journey as a pianist — from the timeless classics of Bach and Mozart to the modern soundscapes of artists like Billie Eilish. Through this playlist, I wanted to reflect on everything I’ve learned, how I’ve grown, and how music continues to inspire across centuries.

🍄🎉 Celebrating 40 Years of Super Mario Bros.! 🎉🍄

On September 13, 1985, Nintendo released Super Mario Bros. for the Family Computer (Famicom) in Japan. Later that year, it made its way to the NES in North America — and gaming history was changed forever.

Created by the legendary Shigeru Miyamoto and his team, Super Mario Bros. introduced us to Mario and Luigi’s adventure across the Mushroom Kingdom — dodging enemies, collecting coins, and discovering the magic of power-ups like the Super Mushroom, Fire Flower, and Starman. All while trying to rescue Princess Toadstool (Peach) from the villainous King Koopa (Bowser).

The game’s soundtrack, composed by Koji Kondo, gave us timeless themes like the Overworld Theme, Underground Theme, and the Starman Theme — music that remains instantly recognizable to this day. 🎶

Today, on September 13, 2025, we mark the 40th Anniversary of Super Mario Bros. — four decades of joy, nostalgia, and innovation. This medley is my tribute to Mario, to Nintendo, and to everyone who has ever jumped on a Goomba, slid down a flagpole, or discovered a warp pipe. 🚩

Here’s to Nintendo’s enduring legacy and to Mario, the plumber who became a global icon. ❤️

👉 If you enjoyed this medley, please like, comment, and subscribe (YouTube) / share your thoughts (LinkedIn).

🎂 Happy Anniversary, Mario! Here’s to the next 40 years! 🥳

Hello. Alex Ananian of Alex A. Music here. It is with great pleasure that I announce that I now have 121 subscribers on YouTube! Why is this special? On January 1, 2025, I started off with 21 subscribers. I recall celebrating having reached 100 overall subscribers with my piano performance of Viva La Vida in Barcelona's Plaza Catalunya! My analytics say that I reached the 100-subscriber mark on June 28, but I didn't check until July 29 to see that my channel climbed to 100 subscribers. Here's the video of my full performance (https://youtu.be/ttPp0WFu0GE)

Here's also a YouTube Shorts video of the same performance where I commemorate my 100th subscriber on YouTube! (youtube.com/shorts/Jh4QdEkFobM).

As of August 16, 2025, I have reached 121 Subscribers! This means that I have now earned my 100th subscriber in the year 2025 alone! My lengthy video about my trip while exploring Madrid, Spain, has now been greenlit, so stay tuned for that! (However, if my channel dips below 121 subscribers, the video will no longer be greenlit until the channel goes back up to at least 121 subscribers.)

Until then, please don't forget to like and subscribe to my YouTube channel as I continue to upload more videos in the months and years to come!

Hello. Alex Ananian of Alex A. Music here. I just got back from an amazing museum in Phoenix, Arizona, that specializes in Musical Instruments called the Musical Instrument Museum! They even have a piano there that anyone can play on (even though there are tons of pianos mainly for display). Stay tuned tomorrow for my full performance on that piano!

In other news, I recall creating a video about my trip while exploring Barcelona, Spain (https://youtu.be/MTO8D7--0PQ). I promised a similar video on Madrid, but I never got to it yet. However, hear this: If we can get my YouTube channel to at least 121 subscribers (marking 100 subscribers in 2025 alone, since I only had 21 subscribers on January 1, 2025), I will upload my video focusing on my Madrid portion!

Until then, please don't forget to like and subscribe to my YouTube channel as I continue to upload more videos in the months and years to come!

Hello once again. Although you are probably aware of my upcoming trip to Spain, which is on June 27, 2025, I have another trip upcoming. I'll be visiting Portland, Oregon on June 20, 2025 and returning on June 22, 2025. Hopefully, I will find public pianos in Portland, Oregon, where I intend to play a select few of the songs I have chosen for Spain, as well as one more song I've already played in the past if I get the chance.
