Chase mode activated today through... well... we will keep you posted since there are days of severe weather ahead. Starting today in western #Kansas if the parameters come into play, we should see some storms firing late this afternoon and moving East, North East into the evening with a chance of a #tornado. This is all subjective on current environments and may or may not materialize based on modeling. We will be out if it does on our way to #Iowa for tomorrow's projected outbreak. Stay tuned, stay weather aware.

Good evening, storm enthusiasts and residents! As we gear up for tonight's weather events across Oklahoma, here's the latest update to keep you informed and safe. We are currently staged outside of Oklahoma City in El Reno, Oklahoma.

Severe Weather Outlook for Oklahoma - Saturday, March 29, 2025

The National Weather Service in Norman, Oklahoma, has issued a forecast indicating the potential for strong to severe thunderstorms across parts of the state tonight. The primary threats associated with these storms include:

- **Large Hail:** Up to the size of golf balls.
- **Damaging Wind Gusts:** Potentially reaching speeds up to 65 mph.
- **Tornado Risk:** Currently assessed as low across central Oklahoma.

**Timing and Areas of Concern:**

- **Northern and Central Oklahoma:** Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms are expected to develop late tonight into early Sunday morning. Residents in these areas should remain vigilant and prepared for rapidly changing weather conditions.

- **Tulsa and Northeast Oklahoma:** The severe storm potential will increase during the late evening and overnight hours. It's advisable to have multiple methods of receiving weather warnings, especially those that can alert you during nighttime hours.

**Safety Recommendations:**

1. **Stay Informed:** Regularly monitor updates from the National Weather Service and local news outlets for the latest information.
2. **Multiple Alert Methods:** Ensure you have at least three ways to receive weather warnings, such as NOAA weather radios, smartphone alerts, and local news apps.
3. **Prepare Your Safe Space:** Identify and ready a safe location in your home, preferably a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor, away from windows.
4. **Emergency Kit:** Assemble an emergency kit with essentials like water, non-perishable food, flashlights, batteries, and a first-aid kit.

**Looking Ahead:**

Beyond tonight's storms, the Storm Prediction Center has highlighted a slight risk of severe thunderstorms extending from the Central and Southern Great Plains into the Middle Mississippi Valley. This indicates that areas in Oklahoma may continue to experience severe weather threats into the weekend.

Stay weather-aware, take necessary precautions, and ensure you have reliable means to receive timely weather alerts. Your safety is paramount.

For continuous updates and detailed information, visit the National Weather Service website or follow their official social media channels.
