I am writing as a long-time and loyal customer of American Girl Brand to express my deep concern regarding the recent price increase at the Doll Care Center.

Over the years, your brand has built a reputation not only for quality products, but also for creating meaningful experiences for children, families, and adult collectors. The Doll Care Center has always been a special and accessible service that allowed customers to restore beloved dolls and extend their sentimental value. However, the recent increase in pricing feels excessively high and, frankly, disappointing especially since it was done instantly overnight with no notice.

The new rates place basic care and repair services at a level that may no longer be affordable for many families. For a company that has supported and fostered childhood (into adulthood) memories, this change seems inconsistent with those values. Many parents and collectors depend on these services to maintain dolls that often hold significant emotional importance.
I understand that costs may rise over time due to materials, labor, or operational expenses. However, such a substantial increase without offering tiered options, loyalty discounts, or advance notice makes it difficult for dedicated customers to continue utilizing these services.
I respectfully ask that you reconsider the current pricing structure or provide more affordable options for standard repairs and care. At the very least, greater transparency regarding the reason for the increase would be appreciated.
I hope you will take this feedback seriously, as it comes from a place of genuine appreciation for your brand and concern for its continued accessibility to families.
