Hi,

If you're not an OG here, this post might not interest you. I'll get straight to the point: the channel has been shadow-banned or something similar for nearly 3 years and and I finally have some proof. My videos aren't being promoted organically by YouTube, and the most obvious sign of this is the stagnant subscriber count. It has been stuck for almost three years, no matter how much I upload or how many views my videos get. I gain subscribers one day and lose more the next day, regardless of what I do. I've tried reaching out to YouTube, but of course, they don’t have any straight answers. I've tried everything I could, and only one thing seems to have worked, paying YouTube for ads! lol

For nearly 3 years I always kept doubting myself that there must be something I am doing wrong, lets do better with next one, the most common strategies that used to work for my channel were not working anymore, until one day just to experiment I paid for 10k views on one of my videos through YouTube's promote feature and that was the only time there was a subscriber spike in the past 3 freaking years and its a pretty big difference, 6.8 million organic views couldn't do it but just 10k paid views did! . How does that make any sense? (attached a picture in the tweet)

I think the main reason behind this is me taking a long break due to sudden and severe health issues I had where I almost killed myself but YouTube openly talks about how taking a break won't affect your reach, well that's not true especially for smaller channels and I have a small channel so YouTube won't do anything about this but this channel and this audience was the best part of my life during the worst days and I don't want to lose it.

I've made a tweet that might get YouTube’s attention if it gets enough engagement. I’d really appreciate it if you could engage with it, retweet it, or maybe leave a comment. I will take all the chances I can to break free from whatever is YouTube doing and experiment with some content maybe something works out.
