A milestone for OZBEAT AI and Australian AI Music Alliance!

We were proud to participate in DDEX’s first in-person AI Working Group meeting in Nashville, alongside leading music, AI and technology organisations from around the world.

OZBeat presented our ISRC-AAM-CID framework and our approach to structured and granular AI music disclosure, which received strong interest and attention from industry experts and participants throughout the meeting.

A highly valuable discussion and an important step forward.

Next: ISRC-AAM-CID 2.0 🚀

Thank you DDEX for the great support!

We’re heading to Nashville! 🇺🇸

On 9 September, OZBeat AI will present ISRC-AAM-CID at the DDEX AI Working Group meeting, sharing our real-world implementation of structured AI disclosure for music.

From 1,600+ registered AI-assisted works to the next stage of granular disclosure, provenance and interoperability, we’re looking forward to contributing our learnings and joining the industry discussion on a key question:

How should AI-related information be structured and travel through the music supply chain?

ISRC-AAM-CID AI Music Registration Update 🎵

AI involvement can vary significantly across different parts of the creative process.

AAM registration now supports customisable role weights and additional creative roles, with a clearer role-level breakdown of how AI was involved.

Another step toward more granular, structured and interoperable AI disclosure for music.

ARIA has introduced new eligibility rules for music created with generative AI.

Beyond chart eligibility, this raises a broader industry question:

How should AI involvement in music be disclosed, recorded and supported by evidence?

As AI becomes part of music creation, disclosure is increasingly becoming part of music infrastructure.

We explore what this means for the industry, and how ISRC-AAM-CID approaches the connection between music identity, AI disclosure and digital content.

ISRC-AAM-CID 2.0 Discussion Draft is now live 🎵

The Australian AI Music Alliance and OZBeat AI have released the next evolution of the ISRC-AAM-CID framework for AI music identification and disclosure.

Building on 1.0 and more than a year of real-world implementation, 2.0 explores six key directions:

• A parallel architecture for stronger interoperability
• Dynamic and versioned AAM weighting
• Structured and quantifiable AI disclosure
• CID → File Identity Record
• Clearer Party & Representation models
• Extending AAM from ISRC / Sound Recording to ISWC / Musical Work

Together, these ideas move ISRC-AAM-CID towards a broader AI Music Identity & Trust Architecture, connecting music identity, AI disclosure, participants, digital files and provenance.

This is a Discussion Draft, not a final standard. We are putting these ideas forward for discussion with the wider music, technology, rights and standards communities.

What does the music industry need in order to trust AI-related music information?
