2HacksGarage is a channel that covers a little bit of everything in the automotive world from vintage drag racing, car shows, restorations, engine building, muscle cars, LS swaps, and much more! Whether it be my 521 cubic inch big block Ford Powered 1968 Ford Thunderbird, Micah's slick and quick 1991 LS swapped Chevy Silverado 1500, working with Jimmy on building engines, Kyle's 1968 Ram Air GTO, Eddie's 1972 Chevelle, Todd's 1980 Camaro Z/28, or my dad's 1968 Dodge Dart 340 Six pack.... we are definitely having fun! While we are not experts, we do have a large background in automotive "know how" and teamwork is our mantra! Can't have the shop life work right unless you work smarter and not harder to achieve your hot rod goals! So what's in store for the 2Hacks future? Hope y’all are staying warm and having a great Sunday! I am just working on a few things coming up next summer, and boy is it going to be exciting! I’m partnered with the Street Fuel Coupe Racing Team and will be covering the entire Nitro Chaos racing series along with all the other events this street legal supercharged Hemi 1931 Chrysler will be attending. In addition, I’m also hopping on to be part of the pit crew, which will be an amazing learning opportunity for me. Here’s the cool part, along with all of the content that will made racing this car, I am in the planning stages of making a cinematic movie that will cover the entire racing season (like the 1974 film Funny Car Summer). Of course I’ll still be doing everything else I normally do with cars, but I have a feeling this will be a once in a lifetime opportunity that will be awesome! Stay tuned and stay cool!

Here’s my day in a nutshell. A lot of snow fell today, the country road I live off of looked like a snow globe. Pretty much snowed in, so I got a fire going, put on some tunes, and hung out with my pup River. Every once in a while it is nice to actually sit down and relax, which I hardly do. That being said, Mother Nature forced me to today and I am glad she did. Can you take a guess what tunes I was listening to? Stay warm and dry my friends!

I had an absolute blast at PRI yesterday, I ran into so many cool people and saw some amazing products. If you know me, you know I have quite the large collection of racing jackets. Well, I have one less jacket now and it couldn’t have gone to a better person, Alex Taylor. Enjoy the jacket, Alex!

I am a huge fan of cigars and have quite the collection. I travel a lot and always find a good cigar shop to pick up something new. One of my favorite brands is CAO, very smooth. They now have an awesome collection of “hot rod” inspired cigars. I picked this up recently and I am impressed! Oh, they also have one of the coolest cigar ashtrays ever made in my opinion. So if you have a gear head in your family that likes cigars, this would make an excellent Christmas gift. Can’t wait to enjoy one…

Well, winter arrived a bit early this year! I’m no fan of cold weather and snow, it kind of puts the hot rodding and drag racing to a halt. That being said, it sure does look pretty while it’s fresh. I think I might go sledding today, might as well make the best of it while it’s here!
