I have 2 studio cats (Millie & Lara) that sometimes like to get in on the action.
It is quite clear that I have no idea what I am doing but then that is quite normal for a singer songwriter :-) xx
P.S the background picture was taken when I was recording at Abbey Road Studio 3 and the mixer in the background was the original one used by The Beatles :-)

I watched one of Andy Edwards videos where he was being quite horrible about singer songwriters and it made me look hard at his channel content and ponder over the way he uses conflict to attract subscribers. I tried a few clickbaity titles early on and they did really well but I didn't feel comfortable making videos just for views really. The music is what is important to me (and the cats) so I hope that is mostly what you are here for.
Anyway, I decided to remove all my Andy Edwards videos and unsubscribe from his channel.

I have been doing a lot of research on YouTube shorts and my conclusion is that they can really hurt your YouTube growth. Most recommend setting up a new channel just for shorts and to keep your existing channel focused on long format video format. Does anyone of my wonderful subscribers have any info more about shorts causing issues?
