This week Sergio and I joined the peregrinos from our town on their walk to Juquila. Sergio drove and I took some pictures and did some videos. It was such an honor to be included and I am so proud of our group. Here are some of the pictures below. Esta semana Sergio y yo fuimos invitados a acompañar a los peregrinos de nuestro pueblo en su caminata a Juquila. Sergio manejó y yo tomé fotos e hice algunos vídeos. Cultivos El Viejo is not far from the center of Oaxaca. It’s right off the main road and very easy to get to. You can take pictures of the flowers. They also have a few venders so you can also buy a taco or antojos while your walking around!!! #zimatlandealvarez #oaxaca

Hey everyone, I just wanted to share a quick update. I had to make an unexpected trip to Ohio after my dad gave us quite a scare — he had a heart attack, but he is doing much better and has come a long way since I got here on Monday. I’ve been at the hospital with him, and after several tests and procedures, we finally have some answers. His doctors have a plan moving forward, so we’re now focused on getting him better.

We’ll have more videos coming once things settle down a bit. Thank you all so much for your patience, prayers, and kind messages — they truly mean a lot.

Hola a todos, solo quería compartir una actualización rápida. Tuve que hacer un viaje inesperado a Ohio después de que mi papá nos diera un gran susto: tuvo un ataque al corazón, pero está mucho mejor y ha avanzado mucho desde que llegué el lunes. He estado en el hospital con él y, después de varias pruebas y procedimientos, finalmente tenemos algunas respuestas. Sus médicos tienen un plan a seguir, así que ahora estamos enfocados en que él mejore.

Tendremos más videos pronto, una vez que las cosas se calmen un poco. Muchas gracias a todos por su paciencia, oraciones y mensajes amables; realmente significan mucho.
