Heya all 🫶🏻

I don’t normally post a whole bunch of things other than lighthearted art and redesigns - but I thought this… might be worth a post.

I would have displayed this earlier, but I was completely wrecked 😔 Do not go looking up footage of the scene, please. It is… gut-wrenching.

I’ve seen many people who bring up the recent assassination of Charlie Kirk quote this Bible verse, which is very dear to my heart. “Well done, good and faithful servant”, a piece of Matthew 25:23. I’ve also seen the order for all American flags to be flown at half-staff.

Mr. Kirk was a Christian, a fervent believer of the Lord. As a Christian myself, his testimonies of faith and pursuit of Biblical knowledge were an incredible thing to see, and the death of a fellow believer cut deeply. I wish his family the everlasting grace of the Lord, and I know Charlie himself rests in the arms of his savior.

I wanted to draw and display this as a tribute to Charlie’s faith, a testament, and a reminder to any who happen to come across it. Violence as an answer to dialogue is… awful, in my opinion. When people stop talking, violence starts (in the words of Charlie Kirk, there’s a clip circulating).

Again, I wish his family peace in the torment of the days to come. “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.”
