The bar is in pit of hell. Someone even said B. How is a father's participation in household activities a measure of his good husbandry while the same mother's participation is treated as an ordinary, and expected part of family life?
It is called parenting, active participation, and he fulfilling his own responsibilities as a parent and an adult in that household.
Predatory attacks on divine texts expose how willing we want to intellectually limits ourselves as humans. I know it is convenient to empty our thoughts rather than deepen them.
And convenience has a cost, because it flattens nuances - and keeps vulnerable people exactly where exploitation needs them to be.
The real question is: who benefits from a superficial reading, and who benefits from a deeper one?
What is the motive? Because the choice of approach to divine text is never neutral. It never was.
Prepuberscent marriage is not in the Quran. God didn't leave loophole for patriarchal readings. What you'll find is human assumptions and male anxieties being projected onto divine texts.
When you strip away centuries of patriarchal scholarship and engage the text honestly - word by word, what you find is a text that consistently pushes toward justice, dignity and human elevation.
Patriachy is a male-centred system that manufactures and engineers a womans vulnerability and dependency and still punishes her for it. It is a form of psychological bully
Human men have/are projecting their own insecurities, anxieties, desires, and thirst for power and control into the religion—and stamping it with God’s name.
