ive been . a little hyperfixated on the conflict between neo and dante . Neo would never ever ever say he hates anyone because hes too sweet for that but we all know he hates dante absolutely WHICH. IN HIS DEFENSE. IS FAIR. DANTE DID KILL HIM. THIS IS TRUE. BUT IT IS SO FASCINATING THE WAY THEY INTERACT AND FUNCTION

Dante walks on eggshells around Neo a LOT because he doesn't want to be on bad terms after. the. incident. but often unintentionally babies him and talks down to him in a way that Neo registers as Dante intentionally putting salt in the wounds of him being forced to reassociate with Dante and Sweet due to him having nowhere to go in his afterlife really.

Dante is not intentionally malicious ((((i mean . not anymore LMAOO))) by any means and Neo understands that but just cannot get his mind to see it in a way that ISN'T malice and it really frustrates Dante in return because in his mind he's putting so much effort into fixing his relationship with Neo and Neo is """selfish for not working with him and making him feel guilty all these years (2) after it happened"""

i think its always a lot more fun to imagine prompts like this as "what if this character woke up one day and was just miraculously a different creature out of nowhere"

For everyone unfamiliar with these characters Sweet (left in the vampire costume) usually wears very bright colours and presents himself as very fun, chill, friendly, etc but you also wouldn't catch him dead in formal clothings so a vampire costume was the best compromise we could get out of him
Dante (right in the rainbows) leans 2wards dark colours, simple outfits, casual clothes,, i wanted 2 give this outfit a bunch of kandi too but i Hate drawing kandi so i Didn't
