From the recent meal prep video 🔥🐟SPICY SALMON & AVOCADO BOWL

This fast fish bowl is truly delish 🤤
Perfect for meal prep or when you’re craving an Asian-inspired takeout vibe—without the junk.

Fun fact: this was one of the very first recipes I ever created. Nothing fancy. No culinary revolution. Just real-food staples pulled from the fridge and given a modern twist ✨

✨ Never underestimate what you can create with a few good ingredients. ✨

What’s in it ⤵️

• Wild-caught salmon (cubed)
• Rice
• Avocado
• Green onions + vinegar-soaked onion whites

Spicy Sauce 🔥

• Seed oil–free mayo
• Coconut aminos
• Sriracha

How it comes together:
Roasted salmon cubes tossed in that creamy-spicy sauce, layered over rice, finished with fresh avocado and tangy onions for the perfect balance 😮‍💨

Blackened salmon tip 👉 I like to let it cook a little longer when I can for that extra texture 👌

If you’re looking for an easy, flavorful bowl you can prep ahead and actually look forward to eating—this one’s it 🥑🍚🔥

Save this • Try it • Tell me if you make it 💛

🍄 Mushroom Secret Most People Don’t Know: 👉

✨ The cap = where all the flavor lives.
🪵 The stem = fibrous + tough (best saved for stocks or broth).

That’s why you’ll always see perfectly sliced caps in fine dining — and almost never the chewy stems. 👨‍🍳

💡 Pro tip: Next time you’re cooking, trim the stems and focus on those tender caps. Toss them in a little olive oil and butter, give them room to brown in the pan, and you’ll taste a deeper, richer flavor and enjoy a melt-in-your-mouth texture every single time. 🍄🔥

Want to make a healthier potato choice? 🍠✨ Let’s talk about purple sweet potatoes!

Here’s why they’re the better option if you still love your spuds but want to support your health:

🍠 Lower glycemic index: These beauties don’t spike your blood sugar as much, keeping things steady.

🍠 Packed with anthocyanins: These antioxidants are powerful for reducing inflammation and supporting your overall health. Bonus: They even have anti-c*ncer properties!

🍠 Nutrient-dense: Compared to russets, purple sweet potatoes pack more vitamins, fiber, and gentle digestion power. 💪

When you’re picking ANYYY potatoes, always go for organic! 🛒 Potatoes are among the most pesticide-sprayed crops, and choosing organic ensures you’re getting the cleanest option.

If you haven never tried them, the first page in my mini cookbook is Bacon Stew, which features purple potatoes!! It’s packed with flavor and nutrients. ✨🍲

Ever look at a menu and wonder what to eat? 🤔 I’ve got you covered with the best restaurant hacks for biohackers—or anyone who mostly cooks at home but still wants to make clean choices when dining out.

📍The pic above is from a beautiful spot my love and I enjoy in Laguna Beach and when you’re that close to some of the most STUNNING beaches on earth, you have to order fresh fish, right?

But here’s the catch… (lol pun) Not all fish are created equal. 🐠⚠️

Some are loaded with heavy metals (mercury 😬), toxins, and even parasites (yep, worms!!! 🪱).

So, what’s the best fish to order when eating out?

Here’s my go-to list of the cleanest options:

✅ Wild-caught salmon – Rich in omega-3s and lower in toxins than farmed versions.
✅ Wild-caught cod or sea bass – A buttery, fresh, omega-packed choice!
✅ Halibut – Mild, flaky, and a great option if sourced sustainably.
✅ Mahi Mahi – Low in mercury, high in protein, and delicious grilled.
✅ Sardines – One of the safest, cleanest, and most nutrient-dense fish out there! I don't see this on many menus, but it's a great tip for you home cooks!

A few pro tips when ordering fish:

✔️ Always ask if it’s wild-caught – farmed fish is where everything goes wrong and are often loaded with antibiotics and toxins.
✔️ Stick to smaller fish – the bigger the fish, the more mercury it accumulates over time.
✔️ Avoid tilapia and farmed salmon – these are some of the worst offenders for toxins.

Oh, and always ask them to prepare it seed-oil-free. :)
