I'm at the LCCA convention in Scranton, PA. I will post a video Wednesday 7/30/25 of the convention, including the question and answer session with Lionel, where they tell us about some future releases. There's also part 2 on Saturday, and part 3 the following Wednesday.
I will do my video on the catalog next week. This way I can watch live streams that Lionel employees are on, and bring any new information to you about the catalog. Also people usually have questions about some of the products in the catalog that maybe I can answer.
I would like to offer my deepest condolences to the Henning family on the passing of Harry Henning III. I talked to Harry during my many visits to the train store, he was very knowledgeable and helpful. I told him I wanted a bigger transformer, and he sold me one he just finished rebuilding, and it still works great. The thing I remember most about Harry is his kindness. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
This week and next week I will be premiering videos from the 2023 LCCA Convention including the base 3, question and answers, the Aberdeen Carolina Western train ride, Lionel corporate headquarters tour, and a video of me talking about inside information, such as what percentage of new trains are returned for repairs, why passenger cars are expensive. All this information was told to me by Lionel, they were very upfront and I believe sincere about everything.
