Simon Hovlund, based in Stockholm, Sweden, likes to proclaim who Jesus is, what He has done, and what He will do in the future. He loves big arrangements and tends to create big orchestral-symphonic pieces. He has drawn a lot of inspiration from Neal Morse and his music. He believes listening to his music (and especially his concept albums) inspired him to make his newest concept album ''The Preacher The Prophecy and The Fire''.

For the last ten years or so, he has had his main focus on making music centered around his faith in Jesus Christ. After being led by God to live in Norway, he found himself in a warm Christian fellowship with a focus on creativity. This was on the YWAM base in Ålesund led by Jonny Westwood.
