Gratitude and Fulfillment. 🏆🏆🏆

I’m so grateful for the opportunity to serve today volunteering at the Fresno Rescue Mission! Incredible people working in an incredible nonprofit organization and providing wonderful service to the big Fresno area communities!

I signed up for the first time today for a couple of hours of service. I am glad I did. I helped in the kitchen to prepare the meal especially in the salad 🥗 bar. Being my first time volunteering there today, I worked with a wonderful man named Greg, who had been volunteering there for about two years! He quickly got me up to speed, like someone’s first day at work, and we set up the salad bar and prepared all the salad for the meal 🥘.

At lunch time, both of us dished out the food serving all the incredible disciples and the wonderful people that needed to eat. The hall was almost full! It was awesome! A wonderful man named Felipe was in charge of the entire shift and did an excellent job leading with great enthusiasm and joy. Christian music was playing on the radio as we prepared the meal and Christian music videos were playing in a big screen as the people enjoyed their food!

I loved the whole set up and it made me feel so happy! I thought to myself and probably voiced it out to Greg and Felipe that Fresno Mission not only feeds the people physically but also spiritually!

Before the food was served, everyone stood up for prayer and a wonderful young man prayed so eloquently thanking God for everything and blessing the food.

The multiple genuine Thank You that I got from every single person I served food was more than enough fulfillment for a whole week! I was happy.

I recommend you find time out of your busy schedule to volunteer. I guarantee you’ll be happy you did.

I’m so grateful for the opportunity to serve today and I plan on doing it on an ongoing basis as much as my busy schedule permits.

It’s what we consider the little things in life that actually make all the difference in our world.

Thank you, Fresno Mission , for everything you do in our community. May God bless you more in many ways beyond your imagination. 🙏🏆❤️
