We joined a local-led Hanoi food tour and it took us to places we would NEVER have found on our own. Our guide even brought us to spots her parents have eaten at for years — the kind of tiny local eateries travellers usually walk right past.

We tried a mix of classic dishes and a few things totally new to us, and learned a lot about Hanoi’s food culture along the way.
