Member Stream time!!!
Wednesday night, 6pm ‘murican central time. Hanging out, snacks probably, and talking about a script. We are bringing back Good Trope/Bad Trope and I’ve got three possible tropes. Fake-Out Deaths, Time Travel, and Redemption Arcs. You’ll list some Good, Ok, and Bad examples, I’ll make some jokes, probably film a dumb skit in my kitchen, we’ll all have fun.

The catch is that you have to be a second tier channel member, a Share Owener, to join in the fun. And if you can’t make it, I’ll post the notes we come up with afterward, so you can add ideas. I hope to see you there!






Also, I do apologize for ghosting everyone for several weeks. It’d be cool if there was a juicy story, but it was just plain old burnout. Emails are being answered now!

I didn't have time to celebrate opening day yesterday by playing (or streaming, which I want to do and this is the title to do it), but you should definitely play this game. I am not exaggerating when I tell you that it's one of the best games I've ever played. My shortlist of GOATs ALWAYS contains this game and has done so since 1998, and now it's gotten the face-lift it deserves.

Also, selfishly, I want to see the sales of this thing skyrocket so that companies get the signal that a face-lift - NOT a full on story-changing remake - of classic games from the CRT TV era are a valuable pursuit. Just a polish of the sprites, quality of life stuff, and voice-overs. No need to get fancy.

Who knows? Perhaps one day we'll see Legend of Gaia, Secret of Evermore, Alundra, Legend of Dragoon, and more, cleaned up and playable on newer consoles and PCs. I can dream.

To hit 100k subscribers, it took me 3 years and 2 months. There were 197 proper videos during that time, not counting any shorts. They total 3261 minutes of footage!
