I'm not normal one for these types of capricious gestures, but I've saying for about a literal decade now of everybody just called out of work tomorrow it would move the needle further than any election local or national
Now imagine if we pooled enough resources to sustain it for a week, a month, a year... www.freeameri.ca/
yes thats literally relying on the state. If you get in trouble who are you going to call. The police, a state funded counter-revolutionary force.
If your lights go out are you going to go your neighbor's house who has a generator? Or wait for the electric company?
If you run out of groceries and you can't get to the store, can you walk over to your neighbor's house and "borrow" a cup of flour? Or are you going to pay a 5 dollar upcharge plus tip so so a stranger can buy the wrong thing and drop it on yoir porch to sit there for hours?
For y'all that don't know (and I literally learned this from the Barbershop movies) Claudette was supposed to be Rosa Parks, but they pivoted when they found out she was pregnant (she was like 16 at the time so there you have it)
You can argue wheter it was just or not, but that pivot is exactly what I mean by "playing the game". Montgo was not spontaneous and it most defintely capricious. It was damn near a decade of planning following the Baton Rogue boycott followed by nearly a year of sustained uncooperative action which was then following by an immediate backlash from the white power structures.
Take whatever lesson you will from that, but if you've been paying attention to thos channel you already know which one I want you to learn
take it from somebody who's literal day job from 22-25 was organizing.
This reactionary activist sh*t is just as stupid as it is aggravating for people who been in it for a minute.
You don't "fight the power" by b*tching about who is/isnt saying what.
You fight the power by building a network to call on when its time to mobilize.
Some of y'all done got so used to tik tok for Floyd challenges and state sponsored protests, that concept don't even compute.
Again, if Renee Good makes you mad (and for that matter Kevin Porter who y'all ain't say sh*t about yet) good. Now go do something about it.
(and if the next question is "what do I do?" Go to Prince Shakur, Andrewism, Overthrow Media, Black Liberation Media, or imixwhatilike since aome of y'all can't seem to comprehend these concepts without a video to break it down)
