I have been sick for almost a week and haven't posted any videos this week because I have no voice (I was starting to lose it in my last video, you may be able to tell). But as soon as it comes back, I'll post a video on those SoundPeats Q40 HD and also my thoughts on Apple's event from today. Hopefully Friday! I had two wireless microphones that I wanted to review from Neewer and Apipolla but because these mics are designed for use with wireless phones, I wanted to make the video with smartphones. It just makes sense, right? But I didn't want to just make the usual video with boring audio from one and then audio from the other. No, I wanted to talk about something else - what it's like to live a cross-platform lifestyle with devices from most of the common operating systems out there today. Well, my Sony Xperia phone failed me colossally so I used my SamsungS25 Ultra for most of the video instead. The video quality is not up to my usual standards, but the audio is pretty good. Watch to hear how the mics sound or watch to hear how I've set up a system that allows me to break free from the ecosystem walls manufacturers have built for us.

TCL sent out an update to backers for the Kickstarter for the Note A1 NXTPAPER and has indicated that it will get Google Play Services in an April update. This is surprising but welcome. I'll do a follow-up after that happens as it should shift the dynamic on that tablet quite a bit.

Yeah, I ordered the Samsung pro keyboard for the S11 Ultra. But at $400, I'm not exactly thrilled about it and it won't even get to me until 4/16. Nevertheless, I've been talking about it for months now so I feel that I have to try it out and compare it to all the other keyboards I've reviewed on the channel so you have some sense of the relative value of the options that exist. So expect a video on all that before the end of the month. So don't spend your tax refund on it until you see my video. :-)
