Hailing from the small town of Carrickfergus in Northern Ireland, Lee spent his formative years growing up under the dark cloud of the troubles. Musical inspiration was drawn from classic voices outside of the tensions in his homeland… Bill Withers, Marc Cohen, Tom Waits and the like were all bright colours from a musical palette far away from the often-grim surroundings of Northern Ireland at that time. Rogers’ voice and sound pulls from the vast well of timeless Americana, all the while underpinned by the authentic writings of his life and its surroundings.

Hello my friends!!! So for #throwbackthursday my lovely record label delved into the archives and found some cool videos from 2010 and earlier! Here is a song called New Orleans. Spent a little time down there in 2003, and wrote this not long after. This is the High Barn in Cambridge. Enjoy!!

So here it is, the last song that made it onto the record and my own personal favourite track at the minute. It wasn’t easy to write, and the video gave us the run around to nail down. But we got there in the end. We always do. Big big respect to Hayley Harrison for her starring roll in this, and massive thank you to Jamie Neish for all his talent on this. Hope you all enjoy!!!
