NEXT VIDEO is a Guided Reading of John 18. I'm planning to record tomorrow for a Friday/Saturday upload. Jesus said in the last chapter that His time had come and we will witness Him and his disciples crossing over the brook Cedron to that garden of Gethsemane. John doesn't name the garden but the other gospels do. I'll be providing some interesting context about the brook Cedron in the Guided Reading. It really brought chills to me when I learnt about it.

This is a link to my comprehensive guided reading of John 17. The scene is that Jesus and His Disciples have shared the Last Supper in the Upper Room. Judas has been dismissed and after leaving the Upper Room, Jesus preached to His Disciples as they walked through Jerusalem to the Garden of Gethsemane. This prayer ends His ministry to them before He gives His life a sacrifice for us all. He looks up to the Father and begins a prayer of mediation that is still ongoing until we are all gathered to His side 🙏

[33] These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Notes: How can we have peace: When we suffer terribly hardship?
When we face enormous challenges?
When we are in pain?
When we are injured?
When we suffer cruelty?
When we are threatened?
When we suffer great loss?
OUR PEACE IS IN JESUS! His Holy Sacrifice on the cross opened the door to His Kingdom. His Holy Word guides us on a path that takes us out of the World of tribulation if we BELIEVE in JESUS. The pains of this World are temporary, gone in a blink of an eye compared to the perfect eternity that awaits those who belong to Jesus. He dies so that he can be with each of us always.
Reach for Jesus today and the Holy Spirit will deliver the peace and comfort that Jesus promises to all who trust in His Word 🙏
