Welcome! I'm an independent author who goes by my initials, K.M. Rice, but my name is Kellie. This channel is my way of bringing you into the realm of my inspiration as a writer and a creative. It is a place to celebrate nature, the changing seasons, storytelling, mythology, and even magic.
I have six published books and am a national award-winning screenwriter who seeks to awaken the wildish nature of my readers and viewers. Defying literary conventions and genres, the defining element of my work to date has been the touch of whimsy I bring to every story I tell. They will take you from hauntings in the woods, the rugged American West, the cliffs of Ireland, and across dozens of eras. I have also worked for both Weta Workshop (Lord of the Rings - yay!) and Magic Leap.
