More than one person has asked "What the deal with Danny DeVito?" - regulars to the channel will know I feature Mr. DeVito's likeness in a lot of my videos. First of all, it's Danny DeVito and he's just awesome. Beyond that, part of what I do here is research and testing of AI video. Mr. DeVito's likeness is essentially a control subject. All these videos act as a baseline to compare future AI models against.

I'm updating my production suite across the board: new editing computer with a monster graphics card, Adobe Creative Suite, and new library of production music. There will still be plenty of "novelty videos", but I'm also going to focus on longer term projects that will be of very high quality. They will take longer to produce, but the results will be well worth it. If you have any ideas for longer-form videos (5-10 minutes), post them in the comments.

Hope everyone had a great Independence Day and no one lost any fingers.

I have been testing 2 brand new text-to-video generators so expect to see a bunch of new videos coming out over the next couple of weeks. FullJourney and Pika Labs both have very different generation models so there's lots to explore. If you have an idea for a video, put it in the comments and I'll see how the new generators like it!

You'll also be seeing some re-makes of older videos for an A/B comparison of the different models.. if there's any "classic" videos on the channel you want re-made don't be shy.. use the comments.

Thanks to all the channel's subscribers and viewers for making this happen. To think this all started as a simple research project!

-- Summer Plans
The Runway Gen-2 beta test has ended Translation: the free unlimited AI video clips gravy train is over. Not to worry! I still have a hard drive full of unused clips so the videos will keep coming, albeit at a slower pace. I'll be outputting 1 to 3 videos per week throughout the summer, some using new AI tools to keep it interesting. There will also be some behind-the-scenes videos showing the production process.

Viewer suggestions are a big part of this channel! Sometimes we use an idea as-is, sometimes it gets tweaked into something different, but I read every suggestion to see if it's able to be worked into a video. Keep 'em coming! Use the comment section here or on any video to suggest something!
