Organic Jams: A venerable one-man jam band, SweetPotato Slim was once referred to as "a cross between Stevie Ray Vaughan, Chuck Norris, and Yoda..." Brought up in the blues, drunk on funk, and indoctrinated in improvisation, you never know what you will get when Slim picks up a guitar, bass, or starts thumping on the foot drum. Funky-blues, delta-disco, flamenco-soul? There aren't labels when the universe unfolds, and there's no use in labeling SweetPotato Slim's music as anything other than Organic Jams......Kevin Adams
