Potential hot take here: I’m enjoying post-timeskip One Piece a lot more than I was pre-timeskip.
That’s not to say pre-timeskip is bad by any means, it’s still really good, but I feel like the story has much more of a throughline now than it did before. Plus I’m a sucker for the worldbuilding that we’re getting as we move further into the New World.
Maybe that’ll change once I get to Wano-Elbaf, I guess we shall see. It could also be bc I’m just straight up binging it now instead of stopping for months in between sagas to make videos like I was before. Definitely gonna elaborate a bit more on this in my video once I get caught up

Seems like Toei saw the success of Demon Slayer and is finally making a canon OP film. I’m interested to see how this affects the main anime and whether or not this is the only anime content we get next year 👀
