I help you turn anxiety into authority so you can captivate any audience.
If speaking up fills you with stress or the thought of presenting makes your anxiety spike, you're not alone & it doesn't have to be this way.
I was the person with the shaky voice, blushing & dread too. I was once told “You have no presence. Your voice is thin”
Over the years I uncovered why confident communication feels effortless for some speakers & learned their techniques. This turned into a practical method for speaking with confidence, gravitas & impact. That method is now taught worldwide. I’ve worked with CEOs, broadcasters, politicians, leaders & even a Queen.
My TEDx “Speaking with Confidence” has over 11m views & I'm the bestselling author of Gravitas, Find Your Voice & Star Qualities.
On this channel you’ll learn to:
Speak with confidence & calm
Build vocal presence & authority
Communicate with impact
Subscribe for tools & techniques to help you be heard clearly & confidently.

If you’d like to go a little deeper, start by gently warming up the muscles that shape your words — your face, jaw, lips and tongue.
We often focus on what we’re saying…
But clarity lives in the muscles.
A few minutes of gentle movement before a meeting, presentation or recording can completely change how clearly and confidently you’re heard.
If you’d like more tools to build your presence and gravitas, you can explore my free Gravitas course below.

Clear speech matters because it reflects clear thought. It also shows you care about expressing your thinking with clarity. It’s not about accent – you can be articulate or inarticulate in any accent; what we want is muscularity – the speech muscles shaping the sound clearly. It gives you energy and commitment and has a big effect on the attention of your audience.

Yawning is a brilliant way to open up the voice to give you a lovely natural sense of space in the throat.
You can do this before you have to speak, whether at work, before a social gathering or just before you start the day. If you do a big stretch with your whole body at the same time it’s incredibly good for opening up the body, feel the space you create.
Now speak into that space you’ve made.

There’s always another way to look at the situation, however perplexing it may seem. If you’re really stuck when it comes to understanding someone else, try this.
Lay out three chairs. The first chair is your perspective. Sit in that chair and write down what you think about the situation, and about the other person.
Move to the second chair. This is the other person’s per spective. Write down what they think about the situation, and about you.
Now move to the third chair. See the two of you interacting, as if from a distance.
What advice would you give you?
