Just following up on my previous post. In 2022 my channel made $117.44 in ad revenue. I donated this amount to www.blackgirlscode.com/. Unfortunately because I am not posting new videos, my channel is being demonetized moving forward. Blame YouTube I guess.
Make it and Fake it has officially come to an end. We've had a good time, and I am proud of what I accomplished here, but it's time for me to move on to other creative endeavors. Fear not though, I will ALWAYS be working on some wacky crafts in the background, regardless if it has an online audience or not.
I am thankful for y'all who have enjoyed these fun videos. I had a great time making them. I will leave the channel around for my own personal repository to look back on.
I will continue to donate ad revenue to www.blackgirlscode.com/ at the end of the year as long as this channel continues to make money. I suspect if I am not posting new videos that won't be long though.
1. Some videos are now monetized. After years of making premium content, there is now a consistent enough traffic on the backlog that monetization makes sense. I appreciate the continued viewership.
2. For the foreseeable future, all AD revenue on this channel with be donated to www.blackgirlscode.com end of year. A small note will also appear at the beginning of each video to encourage people to donate. For sake of transparency, I will have an update at the end of the year.
