🌲 The Sawtooth Mountains have my whole heart.

Of all 50 states and 63 National Parks I’ve visited, this rugged Idaho wilderness remains one of my absolute favorite places in the entire world. It’s a place where I’ve built some of my deepest, most unforgettable core memories. 🏔️

Reaching this point in the Alaska Roadtrip Takeover has been a wild ride! 
In just our first week on the road, we've already:

Built out our car camper, emptied, and repacked gear for 3 adults and a baby 🚙

Survived crazy 40–100°F temperature swings 🥶☀️

Spotted a rare moose, a peregrine falcon, and a mama bear with her cub 🐻

Explored an abandoned Wild West mining town with European friends ⛏️

Suffered a brutal chimney inversion that accidentally smoked out the 50-year-old cabin at 10 PM (sorry to the campground I woke up! 💨)

Traveling alone as a woman has taught me so much 🌎

Over the years, I’ve traveled solo through 45 states, driven across the country alone many times, crossed Canada twice solo, and experienced countless adventures on my own — while also sharing many travels with many others.

The last two weeks on the channel have been focused on SOLO FEMALE TRAVEL:
✈️ Mental Preparation
✈️ What to wear
✈️ Safety habits
✈️ Situational awareness
✈️ Big cities + international travel
✈️ Staying aware while still enjoying the experience

My biggest advice?

Trust your instincts.
Stay aware.
Plan ahead.
And don’t let fear stop you from seeing the world.

Solo travel can be empowering, peaceful, challenging, healing, and unforgettable all at once.

Some of the quiet moments alone on the road end up becoming the memories you carry forever.
