2 Railway Incidents in a day: (Crossing a total of 20 incidents in 2024)

Nanda Devi Superfast train (Dehradun to Kota) split into two parts at Bharatpur, Rajasthan around 7 am in the morning. 6 coaches moved ahead, while 10 coaches stayed behind.

AND

Two coaches of 01663 Rkmp Shc Spl train was derailed around 6:30 pm near Itarsi junction while plying fromRani Kamlapati (RKMP) to Saharsa Junction (SHC). Fortunately no casualty was reported.
Luckily due to slow speed of both trains no loss of life has been reported.

A goods train is derailed near Dudhsagar waterfall 9th August 2024. All trains on the route (Londa to Vasco da Gama) are cancelled. Railway officials are looking into the matter

15904 Chandigarh - Dibrugarh was Derailed in Uttar Pradesh, Gonda Today at Pikaura. Approximately 4 people are killed and 2 injured as of now.
Teams of rescue and medical staff are at the spot comprehending the situation.

2nd June 2024 marks the first anniversary of the Coromandel Express crash at Bahanga station in Balasore district of Odisha which happened around 7 o’clock in the evening.

This is said to be the worst railway accident of the century, with an official death toll of 293 passengers along with more than 1100 were injured.

Rescue operations were carried out by local people, volunteers. 50 doctors, 200 ambulances, 50 buses and 24 mobile health units were deployed. In addition to this, more than 1200 police personnel including Army, Air Force, Fire Department, Odraf Team, NDRF Team were involved in the rescue operation.

08277/08278 Titilagarh-Raipur-Titilagarh Passenger Special from Titilagarh between 7th to 14th June 2024 and from Raipur between 8th to 15th June 2024 will remain cancelled.

18125/18126 Rourkela-Puri-Rourkela Express from Rourkela between 30th May 2024 to 14th June 2024 and from Puri between 31st May 2024 to 15th June 2024 will remain cancelled.

08414/08413 Puri-Talcher-Puri Passenger Special from Puri between 30th May to 5th June 2024 and from Talcher between 31st May to 6th June 2024 will remain cancelled.

07471/07470 Palasa-Visakhapatnam-Palasa Passenger Special from both the directions on 31.05.2024 will remain cancelled.

8190/18189 Ernakulam-Tata-Ernakulam Express from Ernakulam from 6th to 12th June and from Tata from 7th June to 14th June 2024 to be operational via Jaroli-Jakhapura-Cuttack-Khurda Road-Vizianagaram route from both the directions instead of its scheduled path via Vizianagaram-Titilagarh-Jharsuguda route.
