I swear the USTA and AUTTP are the worst fandoms/communities ever. People don’t respect other’s opinions, they just hate on shows for the most invalid and stupid reasons (E.g. Being for babies/adults, being annoying (What makes it annoying?), having a bad theme song (Dora for example) or sometimes no reason at all). With the exception of universally panned shows like Caillou, Barney, The Nutshack (albeit the theme song is good and memeable, but this doesn’t save it from its bad voice acting and animation), Biatches, Cocomelon, most nursery rhyme channels and mockbuster shows such as the Samsonadzes and Miracle Star can be hated on for valid reasons. If a show traumatized someone, such as Baby Shark, then that’s a very valid reason to hate on a show if it has a trigger as motifs (such as: Elephants, trains, roosters, etc).
But shows like South Park, most Adult Swim shows (albeit Rick and Morty which should be hated on because of its creator’s pedophilic actions), My Life As A Teenage Robot, Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi, and other shows hated on by these kinds of users are hated on for invalid reasons, such as: Being for adults or babies. That’s the main target audience, especially for adult shows. For baby shows, they’re for everyone young or old! Parents love them too. But you guys hating on them makes them look bad.
Please normalize this type of behavior, you shouldn’t hate on a show for dumb reasons
But if a show traumatized or insulted you in any shape or form such as Solar Opposites (With its insults to religious people) or Baby Shark (With triggering people to make them have long lasting trauma), you should hate on it if it makes you uncomfy.
