Marxist Audiobooks

In light of much thinking, I have renamed the channel to reflect the character of the majority of the works on this channel. I am a Marxist and will primarily upload Marxist works or works regarding Marxism, though general leftist theory will still be posted. While I am not an anarchist, understanding anarchism and other forms of socialism is pertinent to understanding the context within which Marxism arose, and the contemporary socialist movement in which it finds itself.

Due to this, while I have videos mostly by Marxists, anti-imperialists, and other socialists, I will try to upload more general leftist works so the channel can maintain a wider sense of scope. This could range from anything from Anarchists to MLMs, Anarcho-Primitivists to Transhumanists - I am open to suggestions. This channel is purely an educational repository, and I do not necessarily agree with everything I upload. This is both to ensure I can read broadly, but also so that the channel is a welcome place for learning and maintains its non-sectarian spirit (as much as is possible).


Thank you very much to anyone who has been watching, I will get back to recording with my own voice at some point, but for now please enjoy the text-to-speech videos whilst I continue to work on my Master's dissertation. I hope to return to this with a better quality set-up as soon as I can.


In spite of this, I have a new schedule of uploading once every two days as you may have noticed. For the next few weeks the works will primarily be Bolsheviks, i.e. Lenin and Stalin, as Stalin is noticeably absent from my channel. This is not on purpose - my personal feelings regarding Stalin are irrelevant, as he is an important figure in Marxism and his works should be available to be listened to for free. Similarly, there is an absence of Trotsky and Trotskyists in general, so I will endeavour to upload The Permanent Revolution amongst other things. Again, agree with him or not, Trotsky casts a shadow over twentieth century Marxism that cannot be ignored, and his works should be freely and easily accessible, for appreciation or condemnation, as is your preference.

Marxist Audiobooks

I will now be uploading videos weekly, most likely every Tuesday. Please put any suggestions below. There are a few works I have already uploaded in text-to-speech that I wouldn't mind re-doing, so if you have any suggestions please pop them below.

As said previously, while I am a Marxist, this is a non-sectarian channel so anything from Anarchist to Juche works can be suggested and I can pick out what I think would work.

I am currently completing my master's dissertation on British anti-communism in Nigeria from 1948-1956, so stuff relevant to that period - like Palme Dutt, Harry Pollitt, or the CPGB in general might pop up more often.

Hopefully I can get back into the habit and expand this channel as a repository for leftist audiobooks freely available and accessible to the public.
