Hi Metalheads! I'm thinking about recording a new Allstars CD next year. Producing the last CD for Nuclear Blast with some of the best metal singers was a lot of fun. Composing all songs and recording all guitars, keyboards and bass was a an exciting and fascinating work. Victor Smolski’s ALMANAC present a previously unreleased version of 'Kingdom Of The Blind', which originally was part of 2017’s “Kingslayer” album featuring vocalist Frank Beck (GAMMA RAY) as well as new arrangements.
Victor Smolski comments:
“On our European Tour 2020, Frank Beck became the main singer of ALMANAC. 'Kingdom Of The Blind' was his favourite song from ALMANAC. So, we decided to do a new version of this song with great support from Belarus Symphony Orchestra, which brings the song to a new level.”

Furthermore, a demo version of the song is part of PowerMetal.de’s “Metal Alliance vol. 4” compilation that’s available on CD at shop-powermetal.de/
For fifteen years, Victor Smolski was guitarist, producer and composer for German metal legend RAGE. In 2015, he founded ALMANAC to continue the work he started on RAGE’s “Speak Of The Dead” and his LINGUA MORTIS ORCHESTRA, combining a band with several different singers and an entire orchestra. This is the recipe that creates ALMANAC’s unique sound, which is also largely based upon Victor’s signature guitar style. ALMANAC has released three albums through Nuclear Blast thus far, with 2020’s “Rush Of Death” reaching chart positions in Germany, Switzerland and Japan.
