Every couple months something annoying happens.. a feeling of confusion or disorganization creeps in.
The workouts feel less intense, the work feels less engaging and it feels like there's a general "slowing down".
You can even see it in your surroundings: your room gets a bit messier, your screen time is going more towards entertainment, your morning and night time routines aren't being followed strictly.
This is called Entropy.
This is the great enemy of life!
"Staving off death is a thing that you have to work at. Left to itself – and that is what it is when it dies – the body tends to revert to a state of equilibrium with its environment. If you measure some quantity such as the temperature, the acidity, the water content or the electrical potential in a living body, you will typically find that it is markedly different from the corresponding measure in the surroundings. Our bodies, for instance, are usually hotter than our surroundings, and in cold climates they have to work hard to maintain the differential. When we die the work stops, the temperature differential starts to disappear, and we end up the same temperature as our surroundings. Not all animals work so hard to avoid coming into equilibrium with their surrounding temperature, but all animals do some comparable work. For instance, in a dry country, animals and plants work to maintain the fluid content of their cells, work against a natural tendency for water to flow from them into the dry outside world. If they fail they die. More generally, if living things didn’t work actively to prevent it, they would eventually merge into their surroundings, and cease to exist as autonomous beings. That is what happens when they die.” - Dawkins
This paragraph was quoted by Bezos in his letter to shareholders of Amazon.
As you can tell, this applies not just to mega-companies, but also to our daily lives.
You NEED to take some time out for anti-entropic thinking.
Today was my Strategy Day.
I narrowed down my priority list to two ongoing priorities and 5 overall projects. I sorted them by priority and put them into a clear timeline. Will teach you how to do this in future videos.
Doing this has been a huge weight off the shoulders because now I know what must be done.
Some days I feel like a king, and people treat me like I’m special. Usually it’s small changes, like better service and conversations at the checkout counter. The girls smile and the men nod. One time I got upgraded to business class for no reason. (Note: this isn’t just about female attraction mind you , aura extends to all people and even animals.. strange, but true)
But not all days are like this. Some days I’m a ghost, invisible. Another NPC.
With experience, I’ve learned some of the pre-conditions needed to have an auramaxxed day - but it is far from a science.
I’d like to hear from you, my trusted audience what Aura is and what causes it.
What’s the big 3 on Aura?
Regards, KR

"I know a lot about health and fitness. Over the years I've learned about exercise, nutrition, sleep, sunlight and so much more. But even so, I struggle to take the consistent action needed to see amazing results."
One of my 3 primary life goals is to strategically utilize $1M for wildlife conservation over my lifetime.
Today I caught sight of a fairy tern and chick (endangered species found in Hawaii, highly cute) And it reminded me of why this goal is important to me.
What grand life goal(s) do you have? Comment! (writing it down makes it real)
Exactly 2 years ago I decided I'd drop my recipe for non-alcoholic mega-anabolic eggnog. Since then, hundreds (if not thousands) of esoteric eggnogs have been made and enjoyed. The video got 132K views..!
Almost every time I meet a subscriber in person or via call, they always mention that they tried the elixir (and loved it) I want to make a collage of the many amazing variants of EEE that have been made.
Take a picture of the EEE and drop it in the intake form below. He who submits the most aesthetic eggnog pic will win a free coaching call with me. fqec9xzg36a.typeform.com/to/LgoMuBOW

PS: New secret recipe vid in the works.. Austin Growth House members know of this..
For context, these are little squares with adhesive that can be stuck to phones, laptops and headphones etc to (supposedly) reduce harm from EMF exposure.
They differentiate themselves from the 'regular' EMF blockers by saying that they don't "block" EMFs, but rather, they make EMFs biocompatible..

Do you art?
I wanted to show off this super cool 3D printed knight pen holder that one of my cohort members designed (common Timo W).
Yesterday I made a post about entropy.
Today I want to discuss the opposite of entropy: Art.
Art is order amidst chaos,
Art is light amidst darkness.
I will be investing heavily in real art projects this year.
Right now is the time to double down on being human.

KR

Why are the first 10 days of mediation so annoying?
When you first try mediation, the first 10 sessions feel particularly difficult.
This is because your mind is like an untended apple tree.
The first time you shake the tree, what happens? A bunch of stuff falls down: dried leaves, twigs, rotten apples and good apples too.
The second time you shake the tree, there should be less “junk”; less of the dried leaves, twigs and rotten apples. Some good apples fall too.
Third time - not much falls down. Maybe a few good apples here and there, but no more junk.
So it is with our mind: the longer with go without meditation, the more mental debris will build up.
The first few sessions will be stormy. This is expected since you’re clearing the buildup of YEARS!
Meditation is detox for the mind.
It isn’t just a box to check off.
This month, we’re doing a meditation challenge in our group.
My entire meditation course is available.
