To those in the void: I got distracted with work and restarting school (and overwatch) so whoopsies

I played Kingdom Come: Deliverance II with commentary from release day and finished it (I think) on the 6th. I recorded the whole playthrough but I get bored a lot listening to gruff old men go on and on about whatever they decide to talk about during that time period, so a playthrough series would be a bit choppy so maybe I'll just stick to my favorite parts and the cinematics. Bothers me that I wouldn't have a playthrough of the first game uploaded though so we'll see about redoing that super fast but meh they recap it all pretty well in the intro area.

I know I started on a bunch of stuff at the same time so that's also my b and I started feeling burnt out but I think I've got it (somewhat) together again between essays. I think half of it was stalling either the ending of LiS Double Exposure (I literally have maybe 3 parts that need to be uploaded) and the last patch of BG3.

Heyo! I played the first two episodes of Life Is Strange: Double Exposure from early access. This first playthrough playlist will have commentary! I will admit I forgot to set the game audio track to its own spot (so mic volume is a bit all over the place), but I did my best to keep everything averaged out. I'm making as minimal cuts as I can that don't just include me running around in circles. Testing out 1 scene per part for at least the first episode just to see how long it'll all play out editing-wise around working. Might be able to bump it to 2 if I can lock in.

The next playthrough playlist will be what I believe to be the best choices once the full game is released and hopefully I won't miss anything. I also plan on making a series for all the references, callbacks, and easter eggs to past games in the franchise! I'm about to be extremely obnoxious about this game! Thanks for reading and watching!

Trying to get the first part out by noon EST but we'll see how the uploading process likes me today. If not noon, then 5pm EST and if not then, tomorrow lol.

I have returned from my trip! It was more expensive than I originally thought so that will not be happening solo again lol. Yes, I did this whole road trip part for Life is Strange. I was determined to do it before Double Exposure comes out. No one recognized my Hawt Dawg Man shirt and that was a bit disappointing. All those with that bloom in the corner are also disappointing. Took a bunch more, but I don't have a photo of the photos on hand and I'm tired af right now typing this out.

Happy 3rd birthday to the channel!

On paper, this year definitely went better than the last few. Got a new, slightly higher-paying, job that only mostly makes me want to drive off a bridge on the commute rather than absolutely till I find something better or manage to full-send school again. Still though, I don't like working just as much, if not more, than the next person and it keeps me away from doing this and being dumb with my few friends. My lease has been renewed for the foreseeable future so I don't have to worry about that. I've got a trip planned (for the first time in several years) very soon to see a super cool lighthouse some of you may or may not recognize! I've managed to start on those plans I mentioned exactly a year ago (the backtalks that I'm like a quarter way through lmao) and I'm really just waiting to get back to Baldur's Gate 3 and start new RPGs. The mic that was also mentioned has been acquired; I just need to figure out when I want to start actually using it in videos. Assuming I ever get around to that type of content again. Haven't played with my friends in a while, so not sure where that's going.

1.5M impressions on one video was a genuine shock. I don't think specific videos were ever specified on the analytics before. Definitely did more between this year and last compared to the other ones, but I'm worried about the falloff again because full-time sucks real bad.

Happy New Year! 2023 is over now. It was pretty bad irl, for the first half. My father is gone now, leaving me a double orphan lol. But, big thanks to my friends, my dog, and Baldur's Gate 3 for giving me a reason to get up for the last few months. That "Rachel and Chloe Return" video really carried the channel for the better part of two years. The "If Tav is MIA" video is carrying hard right now. Thanks, algorithm.
