HYPERION BOXING

One of the strangest feelings that haunts me is that the video could have been made better. And this is not so easy to get rid of. At first I like the video, but after a while it starts to feel like some things could have been done differently. It’s unpleasant to realize that small flaws negatively affect the impression of a video story that I have been working on for several months. I'm currently studying the After Effects to show ideas more accurately. Over time, my list of changes accumulated and I decided to edit the final version of my video film about Canelo. Despite the difficulties with my PC, I recover the project and improved the storytelling, effects and footages. Now I am really proud of this video. This is exactly what I created in my mind. When I was doing this project, I had the same feelings that I had when I edited the videos about Floyd a few years ago. I'm not idealizing Saul Alvarez, I just want to put out the perfect video. And I understand that YT won't recommend this video often, but I was obsessed with finishing it no matter what.

I am planning to upload this video film before the Canelo-Saunders fight. I hope you enjoy it even more.

HYPERION BOXING

Mike Coppinger reports that Canelo Alvarez’s planned unification clash with Billy Joe Saunders, previously targeted for either May 1st or May 8th due to Cinco de Mayo landing on a Wednesday, is “slated” to land on the 8th. By the way, my highlights video about the Alvarez-Lara fight is the most viewed video about Canelo (and Lara) on YouTube. However, some people think that this video turned out to be biased. It's been a long time, but I decided to rethink and rework this video. I also slowed down the most significant and interesting moments that are invisible at a first look, I added new episodes before and after the fight, and made color correction. A fight that boxing fans still discuss to this day. Saul Alvarez - Erislandy Lara.

P.S. I love the intro in this video. I hope you will find new details in this video story. Thank you for your attention, I always recommend watching the full fights to have an objective view of the bouts.

Errol Spence Jr and Yordenis Ugas seemingly headed for unification bout, both interested

Errol Spence Jr and Yordenis Ugas may be heading for a three-belt unification fight at 147 pounds, following Ugas being promoted to WBA “super world champion” with Manny Pacquiao moved to “champion in recess.”

The WBA’s move had a pretty clear destination, and this is it. Spence (27-0, 21 KO) has the WBC and IBF belts, and now Ugas (26-4, 12 KO) is the recognized WBA titleholder, meaning that PBC can rather easily put together this as a unification, almost surely on FOX pay-per-view.

Manny Pacquiao vs. Ryan Garcia reportedly in preliminary talks

The Athletic’s Mike Coppinger reported late Saturday night that a fight between Pacquiao and WBC interim lightweight champion Ryan Garcia is being explored. These are early talks and nothing more beyond that but nevertheless a total surprise.

As Coppinger noted, this is an odd one just in terms of weight discrepancy let alone whether Ryan Garcia actually should get a Pacquiao fight. He competes at lightweight and this would presumably be a two-division jump to challenge for Pacquiao’s title. Either that or it’s some special catchweight attraction if this develops into anything serious.

“A dream turned reality,” Garcia stated on Sunday through his Instagram account, the post accompanied by a digital poster suggesting a forthcoming showdown with the legendary Filipino southpaw. “It’s an honor to share the Ring with Manny Pacquiao.”

Today, my highlights video (Fury-Wilder 2) was removed by Top Rank. I'm glad if you had time to watch this work with the great music and equilibrium effect. Thank you for watching. This video has received more than one million views and was not going to stop.

You can delete the video but can’t destroy the idea.

"There’s a lot of big fights in the lightweight division. Teofimo Lopez is the one with the rest of the belts. So that’s the main fight that I want to make happen," Haney said.

Canelo Alvarez released from Golden Boy contract, wants Dec. 19 fight against Caleb Plant

Boxing fans have not seen the sport's biggest star in the ring in over one year, but that might change before the end of 2020. Canelo Alvarez is now a promotional free agent after reaching an agreement to sever ties with Golden Boy Promotions and DAZN on Friday. The super middleweight champion ended his lengthy legal battle with his promoter and U.S. TV provider.

"In my role as a manager and coach of Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez, I allow myself to communicate to the boxing community and to all our fans, that starting today, November 6th, Canelo becomes a free agent, so we are ready to continue with his boxing career," manager Eddy Reynoso stated in a press release.

"All this time we have been working very hard in the gym with a lot of responsibility and discipline, to be in great physical shape and ready to fight this year and it will be!

"We will announce date, rival and place very soon, and we will return stronger than ever to keep growing and showing that Mexican boxing is the best."

A source told ESPN's Salvador Rodriguez that Alvarez (53-1-2, 36 KOs) and his team are targeting a return to the ring Dec. 19 against IBF super middleweight titlist Caleb Plant (20-0, 12 KOs), who fights for Premier Boxing Champions.

Trainer Eddy Reynoso says he’s open to the possibility of Canelo Alvarez fighting Errol Spence Jr and Jermall Charlo. But it’ll take time for those matches to happen.

Reynoso points out that Canelo (53-1-2, 36 KOs) is currently fighting at 168, and he would need to slowly drop back down to 160 for him to meet Spence (26-0, 21 KOs) or Charlo.

IBF/WBC welterweight champion Spence, 30, would need to move up from his weight class to 160, and that’ll take time as well.

Spence recently said he’d got three fights remaining at 147 against Danny Garcia, Manny Pacquiao, and Terence Crawford before moving up to 154.
