I recently had the opportunity to craft a cake for none other than the Scottish composer #LorneBalfe, renowned for his work in TV, film and gaming. From Dr. Who to Marvel to Call of Duty. And every milestone birthday deserves a fitting cake that speaks to our passions and values.
Cascading sheet music 🎼 of his greatest compositions. Wrapped in tartan symbolising his proud heritage 🏴. Piano keys symbolising his love of music 🎹. The Kintsugi-like detail revealing music underneath. And an interior of lux raspberry and white chocolate cake 🍰

A few weeks ago CakeMeistro crafted a legendary birthday cake for a bonafide legendary man responsible for the soundtracks of the movies and games we love. #LorneBalfe — the renowned Scottish composer known for his work on game and movie franchises like Mission Impossible, Assassin’s Creed and Call Of Duty— celebrated his 50th on February 23rd.
Details that spoke to his craft and legacy permeated the design of this one, and it turned out lovely and was loved by all! Now that’s music to my ears 🎼🎶🎵🎹🎂🏴
