প্রায়ই আমরা সবার আগে নেতিবাচক দিকগুলো দেখি—কার মধ্যে দুর্বলতা, কোথায় ভুল, কার কাজটা নিখুঁত হয়নি। এটা আমাদের সহজাত প্রবৃত্তি, কিন্তু একবারও কি ১০০% নিখুঁত মানুষ খুঁজে পেয়েছেন? অথবা আপনিই কি ১০০% নিখুঁত? কেউই পারে না—সব মানুষের ভেতরেই দুর্বলতা থাকে। তাই বদলে ফেলুন অভ্যাসটা।
আগে চেষ্টা করুন আপনার আশপাশের মানুষের ভালো দিকগুলো খুঁজে দেখতে। কী দারুণ গুণাবলী আছে, কীভাবে তারা নানা পরিস্থিতি সামলায়—এই দিকগুলো আগে খুঁজে বের করুন। ভালো-মন্দ মিলিয়ে মানুষকে বিচার করা শুরু করুন; দেখবেন, ছোট ছোট সৌন্দর্য চারপাশে ভাসছে। আর দুর্বলতাগুলো নিয়ে সরাসরি তার সাথে আলাপ করুন শুভাকাঙ্ক্ষী হিসেবে।
একটু পজিটিভ তাকানোর অভ্যাস করলে পৃথিবীটাকে নতুন চোখে দেখতে পারবেন, জীবনকেই মনে হবে অন্যরকম সুন্দর!
Habit বদলান, নিজের ভাবনার জগৎ বদলান—তাতেই বদলে যাবে আপনার পৃথিবী।
Most of us instinctively spot the negatives first—we notice where people are weak, where things go wrong, whose work isn’t quite perfect. But ask yourself: have you ever met anyone who is 100% flawless? Are you, yourself, absolutely perfect? Of course not—everyone has weaknesses.
So why not make it a habit to look for the good in others first? Notice their best qualities, how they handle challenges, the strengths they bring to your world. Once you start judging people by balancing their strengths and weaknesses, you’ll be amazed to find beauty in even the smallest things around you. And when you need to address someone’s shortcomings, do it as a well-wisher, not a critic.
Give yourself the gift of a positive outlook. With a small shift in focus, you’ll see your world—and your own life—in a brand new, beautiful light. Change your habits, and you’ll change your entire outlook on life.
