Nothing beats a summer night at the ballpark! ⚾️
We had a great time at the Rockies game Wednesday with our partners at Cleartopia Solutions and some familiar faces from @Skydio and @pix4d.
Huge thanks to Trent Casi for inviting the Buzz team out for a night of baseball, good conversations and even better company.
The Rockies may have fallen to the Dodgers 6–4, but at least the hot dogs delivered. 🌭
Thanks for having us, Cleartopia!

Here’s an enlightening T&D World article by Buzz CEO Kaitlyn Albertolily about the importance of GIS in modern utility inspections.
Many US utilities are using proactive asset management to drive big reliability gains. To scale their inspection programs they highlight new drone image capture technologies, thermal cameras, and AI-enabled analysis software. But, there is an essential underlying framework that makes it all work - GIS.
Integrating GIS with inspection workflows offers several valuable benefits:
⚡ Improved condition-based asset management but identifying class problems and condition trends by geolocation
⚡ Increased scheduling efficiency by understanding the proximity of work orders in the queue
⚡ Broader sharing of data / less data siloes by using GIS as a central hub
⚡ Using GIS to maintain the utility’s System of Record
Don’t miss this 6-minute read to learn how GIS structures data for meaningful action!

A few highlights from AEP Drone Days in Delaware, Ohio. 🚁⚡
A big thank you to Matt Shellenberger and the AEP Ohio team (@AEPOhiotv) for bringing together utilities, drone manufacturers, technology providers, and pilots for two days of learning, collaboration, and hands-on flight demonstrations.
It was great to hear Patrick Rackley share how AEP Texas (@AEPTexas) is advancing its drone inspection program, and we're proud that Buzz Solutions had the opportunity to present alongside them and discuss how AI is helping transform inspection workflows.
We also enjoyed seeing innovative technology in action, including Arcsky's ( @arcsky_team ) Xplorer drone, watching attendees train with Drone University (@DroneU) and seeing our very own Bjorn with Blake from Flyability ( @Flyability ) the Elios 3 through its paces.
And thanks to Skydio (@Skydio) and RIEGL (@RIEGLLIDAR) for keeping everyone fueled with lunch while the conversations continued.
Events like Drone Days are a reminder that innovation happens when utilities, technology providers, and industry partners come together to share ideas and solve real-world challenges. Thanks to everyone who made it such a great event. We’re already looking forward to the next one.
