Lors du lancement des radios FM à Paris (1982), les stations ont demandé à des artistes reconnus de chanter leurs jingles publicitaires pour les promouvoir.

Marco (Les Variations) and I were recording with the famous "O Jays" at Music Farm Studios in New York City when, on a day off, we met Richie Havens. He asked us to play on his new single "Peace." Marco was the guitarist, and I was the bassist and backing vocalist.
Richie was a great artist, probably the most humane and generous man one can meet. Music Farm is a legendary recording studio where the greatest artists of the '60s recorded their timeless hits.
For years, Gene Pitney managed the studio and preserved its atmosphere. They never repainted the interior walls that held all those magical vibrations.

Marco (Les Variations) et moi enregistrions avec les célèbres O’Jays au Music Farm Studios à New York quand, un jour de repos, nous avons rencontré Richie Havens. Il nous a demandé de jouer sur son nouveau single “Peace”. Marco était à la guitare, et moi à la basse et aux chœurs.
Richie était un immense artiste, probablement l’homme le plus humain et généreux qu’on puisse rencontrer. Music Farm est un studio d’enregistrement légendaire, où les plus grands artistes des années 60 ont enregistré leurs titres intemporels.
Pendant des années, Gene Pitney a dirigé ce studio en préservant son atmosphère. Les murs intérieurs n’ont jamais été repeints, ils retenaient toutes ces vibrations magiques.
