After a long month of creating every day, I have a treat for you: another list of prompts! I hope everyone enjoyed all my videos showing off my process for creating daily. February has become one of my most productive months creatively. But that said, I am excited to get back to my experimentation with combining my passions for both painting and collage work.

It's been a while since I did an introduction of myself. With so many new eyes this month, I wanted to say hello 🤗
So, I'm Leah from Flanzella.

Fave substrate: Canson Mixed Media Paper
Fave cutting tool: Westcott titanium scissors

I've been collaging my whole life really, I like to think of life as one big collage, sewing in memories and interests... As corny as it sounds. Although I had to stray away from art as a career for many years, it gave me a solid foundation in design that eventually has led to becoming a full time artist.

I've worked on beverage packaging in previous years and hope to work towards book covers, murals, and educational content this year (if you know of anyone looking 😜). I teach in person and virtually, council artists on business and art, and run a long form video YouTube channel where I hope to educate people on collage.

Take a look at the artworks I've created for Februllage so far. I'm really proud I've had so many ideas. Last year I worked with a very limited amount of papers and was happy to finish one piece per prompt. This year, I'm feeling extra fired up and have been able to make several for quite a few of them.
How is your februllage going? If you don't know about it, it's a month long challenge that happens every February for collage artists, you make an artwork a day. You can find them in the last photo.

Februllage starts this SUNDAY! If you are a collage artist, it's the best time of the year. Collage artists from all over the world come together to make art together. I made some amazing works last year.
What's your favorite prompt from the list? Mine is "Oblivious", I think it will make for some amazing artworks!

The Februllage prompts are here! Look back soon for an announcement for a Livestream to prepare for it with me!
If you've never heard of it, Februllage is a collage challenge open to everyone world wide. Every February, collage artists come together to do a prompt a day. I've now participated for 4 years and it's made it one of my favorite times of year. If you've participated before, I hope you'll join me in doing it again. To say I am shocked that this is my last prompt list of the year is an understatement! Having so many life changes made this year feel both incredibly slow and fast. These final weeks I can focus on making my final artworks of the year before taking some time off to spend time with loved ones. I hope you have an amazing holiday season!
