Another Fireplace channel!
A small project for myself to learn about YouTube, photography, videography, lighting, video editing, posting, and all the little extras along the way. There's a lot to improve upon, but while I do so, I'll keep on posting!
I have a fireplace and I like having fires so I'm going to film them and post. Some people enjoy streaming fires on their monitor/TV or in the background on their devices so I thought I'd use this as my practice grounds and maybe a few people will appreciate it in the process.

Alright! So, I've decided to add some more videos showing the content creation side of the channel. First video up! It's me preparing the Fireplace for filming with a quick Fireplace clean, tidy, and stacking some wood and paper to be lit. It's simple but shows a step in some of the preparation creation process. I'll weave these types of videos in between the regular fireplace videos. When I run out of content creation process to show, I'll move on to more Fireplace lore and knowledge. Anyway, this video isn't fancy but hope you enjoy.

So, I applied to monetize and oddly YouTube thinks I'm using someone else's content in my videos, which is confusing because they don't back that assumption with any evidence showing whose content they think I'm using. I film it all myself - it's my own fireplace being recorded so I don't see what they're basing the assumption on. They claim I have to prove that my content is original so I'll have to think of some ways to do that. Maybe I'll make some separate videos of my process in preparing the fireplace, placing the wood, lighting the fire and THEN make a separate video of the fireplace loops so that viewers who enjoy streaming a fireplace ambiance / background still have the specific option available too. Seems kind of weird to have to do that, but maybe once I get a few of those videos going it will be sufficient evidence to satisfy the YouTube approval process.
