I've recently started some shorter content about coding in Lua without using AI. And on the same time I'm learning Ruby with usage of LLMs. After just 3 days, I can say with high confidence:

DO NOT USE ONLY AI FOR LEARNING PURPOSES.

I know it's faster to get answers to your all questions but, at least for me, digging to it by myself made me read more about how does this Lua work which comes with understanding and memoring more than enough.

On the other hand I feel like i struggle with ruby. Maybe it's harder for me? I've tried to choose somewhat similar languages

And I'm aware that Lua is not hardest thing ever but if it's more efficient for something kinda simple, then what about harder topics?

Anyway, after 30 days, I'll record video with comparison of these two methods of learning. Maybe for long run AI is better?

It's going to be about making twitch-discord bot that will be... let's just say NOT going to appreciated by one streamer 💀
