2025: The next Year of the Snake, beginning on January 29, 2025
Some historical events that happened during the Year of the Snake:
The assassination of Russian Emperor Nicholas and his family in 1881 The start of the Great Depression in 1929 The start of World War II in 1941 The Soviet collapse in 1989
America is a experiencing a parallel rub of 1800s America. We have immigrants not able to “assimilate” and are behaving “savagely”. Is the Law of Balance occurring. History is somewhat repeating itself. Similar scenario, but exact same lesson. How will it be handled THIS time. Fascinating times we are in.
Our 6 week adventure ends and we enter back into the rat race of society. The adventures of mice, prairie dogs, rattle snakes, August thunder showers, quiet campfire nights and lazy days are done for now. Our next adventure will be our homestead reveal. #DougtheThug got hit by a rattler. Spent 5 days in the hospital and went through anti venom treatment. Fully recovered but a bit cautious in the tall grass. In the meantime as he takes it easy, we enjoy the river, 86 degrees all year round. #SouthDakota#NomadLife#2024
Our last night in the Gadarene. What a year! Grateful for the stability and grateful for the experience. We say good bye to a full and long life the west has offered, and now it is time to rest in the heartland for the remainder of our days.
We look forward to hitting the road and wandering one last time while we await our next forever home. First stop, a few days at a reservoir to get back into the swing of #NomadLife. Heading north to the mountains and the forest to stay cool.
We are experiencing the parallel of the 16th Century Protestant Reformation. The religious movement of witch burning, the movement away and to Christ. If your ancestors were burned at the stake, the Law of Balance is coming through. Many will come back to Christ during this period. I AM
