Debunking the WORST advice on the internet for producers.
“Just find your own sound, bro”
You can’t find your own sound without learning first. We never grab an instrument and start playing our own songs right away. We learn other peoples songs, then we start writing our own. “Chase your own sound” is great advice for an experienced producer, but for a beginner, this can keep them stuck for years.
