Personally like many of you, I’m not a big fan of some of the changes she pushed for on this platform and I hope the new guy works to ensure YouTube is pro-creator and pro-viewer.
I have to admit however, there were some good things that came from YouTube during her time here. We got the community tabs (which i’ve been neglecting ngl) and recently, live tabs to separate stream VODs and livestreams (work in progress but better than what we had before).
Let’s hope this next chapter of YouTube’s history moves to a brighter side!

But which platform would you rather watch my streams on?
YouTube needs to remonetize TheActMan and fix their broken DMCA system. This is such a low for the platform and it empowers people like *the specific channel that i will not name* to harass content creators by filing false DMCA takedowns on them. With YouTube backing them up and relying on automation to handle appeals, it shows that the company shows little interest in fixing the largest problems on the platform and tolerates abuse and fracturing of this online community.
If YouTube allows these malicious DMCA abusers and dangerously toxic communities to flourish and either shut down or chase away new and long-established creators, and if they allow this community to break, this will actually destroy the platform. As problematic as YouTube is, I would rather we save it than let it burn; especially since there is a lack of good alternatives to the platform.
Use #JusticeforActMan and other similar ones to let the platform know this is not something we will stop with soon! However, DO NOT, and let me repeat, DO NOT harass anyone! Don’t bother other channels, don’t harass the company and its employees, we will be peaceful and non-threatening, but firm and militant!
should i make a sequel to North America Slander that covers most of central america, carribeans, and greenland? or should i move on to another continent? or.....?
