What began as a space for reinvention & current events, pivoted to exposing the gap between identity marketing and business integrity. We are documenting the ongoing dispute with The Real South Africa (TRSA) regarding a refund made during my mother’s terminal illness—which has since been met with evasion and silence. You can’t fully move forward until the legal paperwork is finalized. I refuse to let a family estate dispute be leverage for business evasion.

What you’ll find here:

Consumer Advocacy: How to identify "lifestyle" red flags and marketing manipulation.

Accountability is a requirement, not an option. No more shaming. No more evasion. Just the facts.

Why I’d Rather Trust a Deportee Than a "Back to Africa" Influencer

In this video, I’m getting raw about why the 'Back to Africa' movement failed so many of our elders, including my own mother. We often talk about 'supporting our own,' but what happens when 'our own' uses identity-based marketing to provide substandard service or outright scams?

I share a story about a deportee in Mexico who understands American customer service better than the influencers selling 'ancestral dreams' in Africa. It’s time to choose transactional professionalism over emotional manipulation.

End of Year Update: Travel Bans, Expats, New Global Reality

As we close out 2025, the world is shifting. The recently expanded U.S. travel ban, effective January 1, 2026, places 39 countries under strict limitations, with a heavy focus on our brothers and sisters across Africa—from Nigeria and Angola to Mali and South Sudan.

This isn't just a policy shift; it is a blow to America’s image as a land of inclusion and opportunity. But as the borders tighten, we must also look at the 'entrepreneurs' sitting in these countries who have built their brands on our deep 'Back to Africa' emotions. They depend on American dollars to sustain their luxury lifestyles, yet they are the first to evade accountability when things go wrong.

The True Diaspora vs. The Shield of Evasion

While these Western expat entrepreneurs use our heritage as a marketing hook, the 'true diaspora' is the one that will suffer most. These are the families who rely on remittances to cover basic needs like food, healthcare, and education. With a new 1% tax on remittances and restricted mobility, these lifelines are being squeezed.

Diplomatic and Logistical Climate

Retaliatory Risks:

While most affected countries have not yet issued formal "counter-bans" on Americans, the African Union has warned of deteriorating diplomatic ties. Expats may face increased scrutiny, "tit-for-tat" visa fees, or more difficult residency permit renewals in these host countries.

Increased Vetting for Expats:

Americans traveling back and forth from these "high-risk" zones are reporting more frequent "secondary inspections" and "SNN" (Secondary National Security) screenings at U.S. ports of entry due to their frequent travel to restricted zones.

FULL BAN (19 Countries + Palestinian Authority):

Suspends entry for both immigrants (green card seekers) and nearly all non-immigrants (tourists, students, business travelers).

ORIGINAL12: Afghanistan, Burma (Myanmar), Chad, Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Yemen.

NEWLY ADDED: (Dec 2025): Burkina Faso, Laos, Mali, Niger, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, Syria.

SPECIAL CATEGORIY: Individuals using Palestinian Authority-issued travel documents.

PARTIAL BAN (20 Countries):

Suspends entry for immigrants and non-immigrants on specific visas: B-1 (Business), B-2 (Tourism), F (Academic Student), M (Vocational Student), and J (Exchange Visitor).

COUNTRIES:
Angola, Antigua and Barbuda, Benin, Burundi, Cote d’Ivoire, Cuba, Dominica, Gabon, The Gambia, Malawi, Mauritania, Nigeria, Senegal, Tanzania, Togo, Tonga, Venezuela, Zambia, Zimbabwe.

Turkmenistan: A unique case where only immigrant visas are suspended; non-immigrant visas (B, F, M, J) are currently permitted.

2025 Update: Integrity Over Evasion - As the year closes, I want to clarify something: this has never been just about the money. Moving on requires proper legal closure, but it also requires calling out the "red flags" that put our community at risk.

For three years, I have watched a pattern of behavior that should concern every traveler:

The Emotional Hook: Playing on the deep, ancestral "Back to Africa" emotions of our seniors, only to fail them when real-life crises—like my mother’s terminal illness—arise.

The Service Failure: A company that promises a cash refund in writing (Nov 2022), requests banking details, and then goes silent for years.

The Evasion: Choosing to ignore the Virginia Office of the Attorney General (OAG Complaint #972383) rather than provide a simple, honest resolution.

The Tactics: Using supporters to "class shame," "gender shame," and "ethnic shame" anyone who asks for accountability.

Most importantly, I refuse to let someone allow a family estate dispute be leverage for their evasion. The passing of a loved one is not a legal loophole to avoid a debt; it is a time for a business to show the "culture" and "lifestyle" they claim to promote.

Accountability is a requirement, not an option.

I'm Real....

🛑The "Just Go To Africa" Lie: It's Not Racism, It's "Travelism"

You are entitled to dignity anywhere, period.

But let's get real about the economics and logistics they ignore:

Cost is NOT Just Proximity:

People tell Black Americans to choose Africa, but it's often cheaper to fly to established, distant markets like Japan or Portugal than it is to many parts of the continent. And flying within Africa? The system is rigged to favor old colonial routes.

Many travelers who go to Africa seeking an immediate sense of "home" encounter the reality of "travelism."

What is Travelism? This is the discrimination or prejudice experienced by a traveler based solely on their status as a foreigner, particularly if they are perceived as wealthy. In the context of the Diaspora, this can manifest as local vs. foreign pricing (charging non-nationals significantly more for the same goods or services).

The Money Grab Perception: While many interactions are genuine, the frequent demand for foreign prices or aggressive sales tactics can leave Diaspora travelers feeling exploited, leading to the painful realization that their welcome is often conditional on their perceived wealth.

The Caribbean vs. Africa:

For Black Americans, the Caribbean remains the most financially and geographically accessible international travel destination due to shorter flight times, established tourism infrastructure, and strong historical connections.

The Language Barrier:

The focus is often placed exclusively on Anglophone countries (like Ghana or South Africa). If a traveler is interested in rich cultural destinations like Senegal (French) they face a linguistic and cultural adjustment that is not present in nearby bilingual destinations like Mexico.

Give people grace and time!

I'm Real....

🚨 When I first posted this video 3 months ago, critics demanded: "Show your face, give the receipts, tell the TRUTH!"

I've come to the realization: People don't care about your truths, your evidence, or your receipts... if it goes against their personal interests, agenda, or their friends. Truth does not set you free, the way you want it to be. But truth leaves a paper trail.

I realized I was fighting a battle for truth, and my opponents were fighting a battle to protect their financial interests. The consumer is always guilty until proven innocent. #ProbateCourt #OnToTheBanks

🚨 THE PRELUDE TO THE REFUND BATTLE: The Red Flag That Started Before Cancellation: The Real South Africa (TRSA) EXPOSED - The Artist Analogy: It's Just Business For Black Travelers!!

Before I finalize my mother's estate and move forward with the bank, I want to share the "prelude" to the refund story of acknowledged debt, malicious stalling, and a calculated lack of accountability that started long before our trip was canceled.

In this 3-Minute Short, I Address:

The $1,985 Billing Discrepancy
The Cancellation Policy Lie
The Probate Stall Tactic
The Bank's Consistency

It's a story of a travel company exploiting grief and legal complexity to stall a debt they acknowledged. My mother died thinking they were wonderful people. Consumers deserve better.
