THE WHITE PATH

*The True Meaning of a Muslim & The Fireworks Noise 📢*

Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu,

During these nights, we all hear the overwhelming noise of fireworks.

It is deeply disappointing that this disturbancethis source of fear and frustration is often coming not just from others, but also from our own Muslim brothers and sisters, both young and old.

We must remember the core teachings of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), the

*Mercy to the Worlds* :
1. THE PRINCIPLE OF PEACE (NO HARM)

Our faith is built on removing hardship, not creating it.
Protecting Your Neighbor: The Prophet (ﷺ) said:
"Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should not harm his neighbor."

Defining a Muslim: He also said:
"A Muslim is one from whose tongue and hand the Muslims are safe."

Yet, with every loud blast, we are causing distress to the sick, the elderly, and our innocent, frightened children.

The path to Paradise is clear: Removing harm from the road is charity (Sadaqah).
Why, then, are we causing it in our neighborhoods❓

2. THE DANGER OF IMITATION (TASHABBUH)
The Prophet (ﷺ) warned us against imitating practices specific to non-Muslims, saying:
"Whoever imitates a people is one of them."

Does the clear guidance of the Messenger of Allah not suffice us to abandon this harmful practice❓

3. WASTE AND DANGER (ISRAF)
Fire is our enemy. The Prophet (ﷺ) said:
"Indeed, this Fire is only an enemy to you."

Risking Life: Every year, these activities lead to tragic accidents. Our life (Every part of our body) is a precious trust (Amanah) from Allah, and it is Haram (forbidden) to deliberately put it in danger.

*Wasting Wealth* : Spending money on a source of pure harm noise, imitation, and risk is a grievous waste (Israf) of wealth.

Sheikh Muhammad bin Salih Al-Uthaymeen (رحمه الله) stated that buying and selling fireworks is Haram because it involves both harm to people and a reckless waste of funds.

🤝 A PLEA TO PARENTS AND GUARDIANS:
It is your duty to protect your families from these forbidden acts. Please warn and educate your children about the principles of peace and the sin of waste.
May Allah grant us all the strength to abstain from every act that displeases Him and harms our community.

Aameen.

📌 Bengaluru Traffic – A Test & Its Solutions in the Light of Qur’an & Sunnah

Life is full of trials—at home, outside, in travel, and in daily routines. Allah ﷻ reminds us:

“Indeed, We have created man in hardship.” (Al-Balad 90:4)

“He who created death and life to test you as to which of you is best in deeds.” (Al-Mulk 67:2)

👉 The difference between a believer and a non-believer is that the believer seeks solutions through patience and wisdom, while others simply complain.

🚦 Bengaluru – One of the World’s  Traffic Cities

Asia’s No 1 traffic congested city

6th in the world for worst traffic

Yet Islam teaches us that even roads are a blessing:

The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Removing a harmful thing from the path is an act of charity.” (Muslim)

🛣️ Solutions & Responsibilities

1️⃣ Plan ahead – Choose the right route, check timings, use tools like Google Maps.
2️⃣ Don’t become the problem – Park responsibly, follow one-way and lane rules.
3️⃣ While building homes – Consider road access. The Prophet ﷺ ruled that roads should not be narrowed and set a guideline of 7 cubits width.
4️⃣ No encroachment – Imam Qastallani said: If a shopkeeper blocks footpaths or roads causing harm, it is not permissible.
5️⃣ Drive responsibly – A Muslim must avoid harming others, even if it means bearing some personal inconvenience.

⏳ Patience in Traffic

If you face traffic, accept it as a test from Allah.

Don’t waste time in cursing or complaining.

Allah ﷻ promises:
(“If you are grateful, I will increase more(niyamah).” – Ibrahim 14:7)

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“Whoever practices patience, Allah will grant him patience. And no one is given a gift better than patience.” (Bukhari, Muslim)

🚫 Avoid haste:
“Haste is from Shaytan.” (Tirmidhi)
Man was created of haste.” (Al-Anbiya 21:37)

📖 Make Use of Waiting Time

Instead of wasting time at signals:

Read Qur’an

Do dhikr & dua

Revise what you memorized

💡 Example: It is narrated that Imam of Masjid al-Haram, Sheikh Saud ash-Shuraim (hafizahullah) memorized Surah An-Nisa during long traffic waits.
➡️ We too can use our signal time productively!

❤️ Be a Source of Ease, Not Hardship

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“The Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hand other Muslims are safe.” (Bukhari, Muslim)

Don’t cause road rage.

Don’t harm others with reckless driving.

Remember: When you block a road, you harm not one but many people.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“Whoever relieves a believer of distress in this world, Allah will relieve him of distress on the Day of Judgement.” (Muslim)

➡️ Always give way to ambulances.
➡️ Help others to pass and make dua for the sick.
➡️ Thank Allah for your own safety.

⚠️ Avoid Fights & Arguments

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“The most hated person to Allah is the one who is quarrelsome.” (Bukhari, Muslim)

🤲 Dua & Gratitude

Recite Dua when leaving home

Recite Dua for travel

Turn waiting into ibadah

🔑 Final Reminder

Patience is better than anger

Discipline is better than chaos

Mercy is better than harm

Gratitude is better than complaints

Let us turn Bengaluru’s traffic problem into an opportunity for:
🌿 Patience, 🌿 Dhikr, 🌿 Discipline, 🌿 Mercy.

May Allah make us among those who spread ease on the roads and earn His mercy on the Day of Judgment. Aameen. 🤲

THE WHITE PATH

🕌 *Awareness Message for the Blessed Month of Muharram* 🕌
Let us understand and act upon authentic teachings and avoid innovations.

---

🔹 **1. The Virtue of Muharram**

📖 *Sahih Muslim*
*“The best fast after Ramadan is in Allah’s month Al-Muharram, and the best prayer after the obligatory ones is the night prayer.”*

---

🔹 **2. The Reward of Fasting on the Day of ‘Ashura (10th Muharram)**

📖
*“Fasting on the day of ‘Ashura, I hope from Allah that it expiates the sins of the past year.”*

---

🔹 **3. Why Do We Fast on the Day of ‘Ashura?**

📖
*"When the Prophet ﷺ came to Madinah, he found the Jews fasting. He asked: 'What is this?' They said: 'This is the day when Allah saved Musa and drowned Pharaoh, so Musa fasted out of gratitude.' The Prophet ﷺ said: 'We have more right to Musa than you,' so he fasted on it and ordered the Muslims to fast on it."*

---

🔹 **4. Did the Prophet Follow the Jews?**

📖 *Sahih Bukhari*
*“Quraysh used to fast on the day of ‘Ashura in the days of ignorance, and the Prophet ﷺ used to fast it too. When Ramadan was made obligatory, he left it — whoever wants, may fast it, and whoever doesn’t want, may leave it.”*

---

🔹 **5. When Should One Fast?**

✅ **10th Muharram (Ashura) is confirmed.**
✅ Better to fast **9th and 10th** together.

📖
*“If I live until next year, I will fast the 9th.”*

🔺The narration that says, 'Fast a day before it or a day after it' (صُومُوا قَبْلَهُ يَوْمًا أَوْ بَعْدَهُ يَوْمًا) is not authentic (ضعیف).
It is not from the authentic Sunnah to fast before or after the 10th based on this narration.
The authentic Sunnah is to fast on the 9th and 10th of Muharram.
🔺 If 9th is missed, one may fast **11th** with 10th to differ from Jews.
🔺 "If someone faces difficulty, fasting only on the 10th of Muharram is permissible." , though some scholars considered it **discouraged**.

---

🔹 **6. What Do People Do in This Month (Incorrect Practices)?**

❌ Linking the **virtue of Muharram to the martyrdom of Hussain
🔹 Islam was **completed 50 years before** this event.

❌ Considering the month **inauspicious** – avoiding marriages, purchases, new ventures.

❌ Visiting graveyards specially during this month.

❌ Offering **Nazr-o-Niyaz** in the name of Hussain.

📖 **Qur’an \[Surah Al-Baqarah 2:173]:**
*“He has only forbidden to you dead animals, blood, and flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allah…”*

📖 **Qur’an \[Surah Al-An’am 6:162]:**
*“Say: Indeed, my prayer, my sacrifice, my living and my dying are for Allah, Lord of the Worlds.”*

❌ Special *innovated prayers or rituals* specific to Muharram.
❌ Practices once limited to **Shia sects** have now entered **general Muslim circles**.

---

🔹 **7. What Is the True Message of Muharram?**

✅ It is the **first month** of the Islamic calendar.
✅ A month of **peace, blessings, and new beginnings**.

But unfortunately...

❌ It has been turned into a month of **mourning**, **superstition**, and **self-harm**.

🔥 Beating oneself with chains, walking on fire, or hurting oneself is not from Islam — it is a **punishment** for leaving the Sunnah and adopting Bid’ah (innovation).

---

🔹 **8. Reminder from Scholars**

🗨️ Imam Malik
*"If it were good, the Prophet ﷺ and his companions would have done it."*

📛 These actions are **damaging the image of Islam** and **tarnishing the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ**.

---

🔹 **9. Ask Yourself…**

❓*Is this how we thank the Prophet ﷺ for his sacrifices?*
❓*Are we preserving Islam or distorting it?*

---

📌 *Let us follow the authentic Sunnah, revive the spirit of unity, and avoid innovated practices.*

🕋 **Muharram is the month of Allah – respect it as the Prophet ﷺ respected it.**
