Kato announced they're making a ready-to-run Duke for 009, using their Small England body. He looks incredible! Duke hasn't been in the show for 30 years - I'm utterly lost for words!
They've also revealed alternate model series faces you can swap on a stock Bachmann Thomas, and some scale figures!
No word on release dates yet. Hopefully later this year!
It's so surreal seeing modern photos of Top Hat. He looks great still, as if he just walked off the set! I'm so glad he wasn't lost to time, and I'd love to know more about how he and Sally Seaplane were rediscovered.

Looks like a "Return to the Classic Thomas look" indeed! As shown off at Toy Fair '25, a new collectible die-cast line is on the way, just what we've always wanted! Absolutely love that Railway Series-styled card art for the Thomas. Looks like that new die-cast Thomas WAS indicative of a new range!
We're also getting an entire new range of Motorized engines with more CGI-accurate proportions - including DUCK and FLYING SCOTSMAN!! What a wild line-up for a first wave. It's wonderful to see this era of Thomas being fully embraced again, and I dearly hope this stretches beyond the 80th this year. Everything here looks very promising!

Been a bit quiet here for the past couple weeks... and likely for a couple more. Been away traveling and came home with bronchitis. 🤒 Not fun.
Work on the next video is underway. Thankfully I recorded all the audio before I left so it's just a matter of editing and building graphics now. I'll do what I can in my condition, but it's going to be slow moving while I get better.
